My goal is to catch a giant on this before the end of the year. I had a couple opportunities so far but I came up short on both. I’ve managed one or and even a green sunfish on it 😂 if you like hand carved stick baits check out Igor's Workshop for some beautiful works of art you can fish with.

The NedWacky Bass Baits grub minnow ribbon tail is like candy to a bass. This bass annihilated it and then another one chased it down and ate right in front of me. This has been a really fun plastic to throw recently.

I got to watch this bass eat a fist full of minnows right before catching him. One of my favorite things to see is this. It doesn’t happen often but every now and again I will get the opportunity to watch em eat.

Round 2 waiting on these deer. All four showed up yesterday evening around 8:30. One came about 3 feet from the blind and spotted Annabell through the open window and spooked the whole herd. All of this happened in the first 2 minutes of seeing them. Tonight I’m solo. Thing looks great though. Check that view looking out.

A lot of fish caught today and I didn’t take many photos. Best rig was a NedWacky Bass Baits Grub Minnow ribbon tail on a 5ot ewg hook weightless. I worked it the same way I would a fluke and also ran it across the surface for a couple topwater blowups today.

Hunting season is upon us and I’m going to be doing a review on a 3 man blind. Excited to see how well it works. We have 4 deer that come into the yard daily to snack on our crabapple trees. The plan is to set it up on close proximity and see if they can detect me inside of it.

It was brutal today. Got up to 92 degrees in my area. I decided I would go to the upper falls and see how it’s looking. Water was semi clear and decently low. Tried a few lures but the only thing that worked was a Twelve Oaks Custom Lures Avenge 90. Both of them were aggressive with their strike and got my hopes up but no other fish would eat. I’m sure this evening will be a good time to be on the water.
