As we close out 2025, we’re grateful — grateful for the people, the partnerships, and the progress that helped shape the foundation of the PRA. 👊

This year wasn’t about having all the answers. It was about listening, learning, and building with the industry — together. Every conversation, collaboration, and shared goal helped move the PRA mission forward. 👏

What we’re thankful for in 2025 🙏:
• Welcoming our first PRA Intern Chase Bailey and Industry Representative as we invest in the future of independent reps
• Partnering with Dealer Academy to bring meaningful product and sales training to representatives and dealerships
• Working alongside the National Powersports Dealer Association to strengthen in-store relationships and support the dealer–rep connection
• Learning from and collaborating with industry partners who believe in raising the standard for all

CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
2025 — The Year Of NPDA
This year has flown by! If you blinked, you may have missed some of the amazing accomplishments both on stage and behind the scenes at your National Powersports Dealer Association. As we enter year-end, it is appropriate to reflect on some of what has gone on. Ten of the high points — in rough chronological order — really stand out to me:

1) AIMExpo 2025 – We had a great presence at our industry’s show. Our booth was busy with NPDA Board members talking with dealers, visiting with our supporting partners and making new friends. We took advantage of the annual gathering of who’s who in the powersports industry and had both scheduled and impromptu meetings. We were also joined by representation from our joint venture, Powersports World TV, allowing us to share progress about our FAST channel with dealers and vendors alike.

2) Harley-Davidson Council — Under the able direction of Board member George Gatto, NPDA’s HD Council was incredibly productive right out of the gate this year. I won’t try to steal his thunder, but I will say, however, that our HD dealer members find themselves in a much better position at year-end than they were at the start of 2025, largely through the efforts of George and his fellow council members.

3) EDGE — Our educational webinar series launched in the spring. The offerings have covered a broad variety of topics and have been well received by attendees. We plan to continue them moving forward into next year.

4) HOLESHOT — We introduced a new format for our monthly newsletter, “Holeshot” with improved graphics and targeted timely content. We are working to continually improve the value of our newsletter for our members.

5) NPDA Welcomes Christy LaCurelle — As NPA celebrates Motorcycle Industry Council's new President and CEO's 1 year anniversary we continue to believe that working with the MIC on industry issues is in the best long-term interest of our Powersports Dealers nationwide.

6) Partnering With Powersports Representative Association — Tim Calhoun and Sid Humphreys, with the help of many industry friends, launched PRA in oreder to empower road reps with the resources and support needed to thrive in their roles within the Powersports industry. Seeing the mutual benefit, in June, NPDA and the PRA partnered in a strategic collaboration to help move their new association forward.

7) Dialing in PSWTV — We have seen continued growth with our industry growth initiative, Powersports World TV. We now have viewers around the world, and hours viewed continue to grow monthly. Through the hard work of several of our Board members, the platform received generous donations of excellent video content from both Yamaha and BRP, elevating the channel content to better tell the story of our amazing industry to curious viewers.

8) Co-Signing with Harley-Davidson — Shortly before the passage of this year’s omnibus bill in Congress, Harley-Davidson reached out to the NPDA, asking for support in making sure that domestically produced motorcycles received the same favored tax treatment as autos, a key element in the bill. We swiftly responded with letters of support to key Senators and legislators. The provision to include motorcycles was added to the bill and passed into law.

9) NPDA At NVP — In September, NPDA was invited to exhibit at Parts Unlimited/ LeMans Corporation's NVP event in Milwaukee. To our knowledge, it was the first time an outside entity was allowed that privilege. We had an excellent time visiting with dealers and parts vendors as well as attending several educational seminars dealing with tariff impacts and other industry issues.

10) DealerConnect 2025 — Our now annual networking event in Columbus, Ohio, was a resounding success. Our partner/exhibitor space was sold out, and dealer attendance increased by 300% from our first-year event. Dealers were treated to top notch education, opportunities to visit with our partners face-to-face, and over meals and breaks, network with other dealers from around the country. Make sure and put DealerConnect 2026, September 20-22 on your calendar now! We’ll look forward to seeing you.

MIC Board of Directors Election Results Announced
Motorcycle Industry Council members have elected Teri Lynn of Troy Lee Designs to join the MIC Board of Directors and re-elected Robin Hartfiel, Editor of Dealernews, for another term. Jim Woodruff, CEO of National Powersport Auctions, will conclude his service on the board when his term ends in January.

We would like to say thank you to the National Powersports Dealer Association for their hospitality and welcoming Tim Calhoun PRA co-founder! Tim had boots on the ground, learning directly from the network. This insight is extremely valuable as we look to expand into our next phases of growth and establishment in 2026.

Also, while on sight at the 2025 , we collected a survey from dealers that will give us more specific details on how they would prefer to be served by a Powersports representative. We will be sharing the results of that survey soon!

“Why do business with Pacific Powersports, Inc?

Pacific Powersports, Inc. is a small but growing family run business that Brian Cornelius and Bill Michels started in 2002 with a warehouse in Temecula, CA. As a smaller more focused distributor, we are able to offer a better customer experience. If fact, one of four people, Rafael, Brian, Juanita, or Bill, who are all very knowable about each brand, answer the phone.

Our first products for the powersports market were Quad Works ATV Powerkits, Quad Works/Cycle Works seat covers, and High Roller Tie Downs.

We introduced an Australian based brand called Motoz Tires to the US market in 2009. Our initial plan was to offer Motoz Tires to one or more of the larger US distributors, but were unsuccessful. We knew it was time to go Dealer Direct. As a new brand and a new dealer direct business plan, our first import of Motoz Tires was just two pallets. We now import several 40ft. containers per month.

Since 2009, we have added additional exclusive quality brands like Barkbusters Handguards, Zac Speed Hydration Packs, and Ventura Motorcycle Luggage Systems.

All of the brands that we distribute have a MAP Policy of 100% MSRP. This allows all dealers, big or small, to compete with larger online dealers. Our Dealer program is very simple. We do not require “buy-in’s” or minimums, but we do offer free shipping programs for orders of 4+ tires and $200+ of the other brands.

When we grew out of our Temecula warehouse in 2019, we decided to move and purchased a 15,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Ontario, Oregon. (Ontario, OR is only one hour west of Boise, ID, on the Oregon/Idaho border.)

Knowing that we needed to offer quicker and better service to dealers in the Mid-West, East Coast, and South-East, we purchased an 18,000 sq.ft. warehouse in Hopkinsville, Kentucky in 2024. Our first shipments from our Hopkinsville, KY warehouse started January 2025.

As powersports enthusiasts and avid motorcycle riders we are committed to support and do our part to grow our powersports community.

Lastly, we are proud to be a part of the Powersports Rep Association and look forward to a successful future.”

Did someone say CONNECT?

As some may have heard in the National Powersports Dealer Association press release or the latest Dealernews issue. For the first time in our industry, reps, vendors, and dealers take a seat at the same table (in a collaborative manner). Why? Because
Where? At the NPDA Dealer Connect in 2025 located in Columbus Ohio on September 21-23. ✈️

Our objective is simple. Learn, learn and learn some more. The more we learn about the dealerships needs, the better we know how to serve and train. With our goal to provide a new level of standard, this collaboration is paramount for all parties.
