to the Fall River Lodge of Elks #118 for their community service.
This is truly what the grants are for.

We're certain many other Lodges are doing something similar. We commend you all for your community outreach. We ourselves used to chair an annual turkey and fixings outreach events for veterans every year. We'd invite local organizations to participate and provide information to veterans. With the ENF Freedom Grant and donations from others we provided turkeys, food, and donated clothing. We also had a breakfast section were we encouraged the veterans to sit and stay for a while and make new friends. Serving a continental breakfast and conversations. It's these times that made you feel you were really doing something good.
So it is really lovely to see Falls River Elks Lodge and other lodges providing these services that include a personal touch.
Way to go!!!

"🦃 THANKSGIVING BASKETS 🍁

It's that time of year again to show our families in need and our veterans that we care by collecting food items to fill Thanksgiving baskets.

So, how can you help?

➡️ Please consider donating non-perishable food and putting it in the tote that is just outside the Member's Lounge.

➡️ Consider putting your change into the jug on the bar in the member's lounge which will be used to purchase gift cards for turkeys.

The Charities Committee thanks you for your continued support!"

When I name the veterans in my family alone and then include my husband's family I literally run out of breath. I'm extremely proud! 🇺🇸
This is my family! I have a right to be proud.

I gave birth to my hero. This was one of the proudest days I had as a Mom and I've had many. Erik you were always going to serve. That you were clear about since you were a little boy. You've always had a passion for our country and I'm extremely proud.

Thank you to all our Veterans for the dedication, the sacrifices, and the love for our country and for me.

I then married my other hero. Thank you to my husband and all of his siblings, father, and grandfather. I'm so proud to be your wife Edward H Fugee III .

Pictured below is:

Our son Erik, US Air force:
My dad Thomas, US Marines:
My little brother, Junior Figueroa, US Army:
My Great grandfather US Army:
Ed's dad Edward Harrison Fugee Jr., Army:
Edward's brother Michael Joseph Fugee, Air Force:
Ed's sister Stacy Fugee Mulhern , Air Force:
Ed's grandfather, Navy.

Thank you and your family not only for your service in our armed forces, but also the service you still and they still provided once home. From firefighter to law enforcement to nursing.

Thank you to my little brother Junior for not only your service but being the brother you've always been. Protecting me and teaching me so much about chivalry.

To my dad Thomas Patrick Smoker, Marine, we miss you. Thank you!

To my cousin Robb Perez, Navy, I love you and thank you for your service.

In my life I have more Veteran's than I could possibly name all at once. From my son and husband, to my little brother and my dad, to my cousin, to my best friends, and just so many more family and friends I want to personally thank you for serving our country.

Everyday I feel honored and humbled to be in your presence and to know you. There is no possible way I can name each Veteran that I know but thank you all. I have countless friends throughout this nation that have served and sacrificed. Particularly in Florida, Michigan, Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California!

Thank you all for your dedication to our country and your service.

After brunch at the San Francisco Elks Lodge #3, we made a lovely stop.

We stopped at the Cathedral of St Mary's of the Assumption which was finished in 1971. The original Cathedral is still standing in the city. The Archdiocese of San Francisco was founded in 1891. Take a look at the picture of the organ. It is incredible.

We had a lovely time adding some precious stops after Mid-term convention, and this was definitely one of the favorites. The pictures do not do it justice. Edward will be adding more soon.

We are cracking up with PAVP Connor, who served with our very own Bruce Hershkowitz, at the San Francisco Elks Lodge 3.
What a historic lodge. The oldest original building BPOE lodge.
Now Edward H Fugee III will be a Jolly Cork come this upcoming January, so we are excited to be here. Brunch and football will be a blast tomorrow.
Nayda is exhausted so Edward is holding the fort at this historic lodge. You get chills just being here.
More photos to come once we take the full tour.

We've been busy at CHEA-Elks Mid-term.
Once we've organized these photos we will update. But for now some of last nights shenanigans.

I used to stop at all the Harley Davidson's. Now we stop at all the Elks Lodges.
