NATASHA WINKLER A special memorial bench was dedicated in honor of fallen Officer Steven R. Nothem II, who served with both the Carrollton Police Department and the Grand Chute Police Department. Officer Nothem was tragically killed in the line of duty in Carrollton, Texas, on October 18, 2022. The dedication ceremony took place outside the Grand Chute Town Hall on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Those in attendance toasted with Dr. Pepper, as Officer Nothem did not drink. 23 was his badger number.
