At 15:45 the Grand Junction Fire Department was dispatched to a reported fence and shed on fire at 630 Bluegill Drive in 3’s first in. Engine 3 and Ambulance 3 arrived to a working fire in a small outbuilding and pulled a line for fire attack. At 16:52 command reported water on the exposures with a second line off Engine 3. The fire was held to the shed, fence and some exposures were affected as well.

Today at approximately 14:20 the Grand Junction Fire Department was dispatched with a full compliment for a fence fire between houses at 1956 Clover Ct. Engine 2 arrived to a fence fire that had been knocked by bystanders and pull a booster line for mop up. No extension to nearby residences.

At approximately 20:45 on Thursday May 28th, North Metro and auto aid from Thornton and Westminster were toned to 2047 W 152nd Place for a reported structure fire or tree on fire. 66’s a pair and Battalion 62 arrived to a two-story detached garage with fire through the roof and initiated a major incident tone. Due to conditions inside including deterioration of the second floor, a defensive tactic was employed. Truck 74 (first truck) setup for aerial master stream ops while companies operated hand lines. Additional companies over the first alarm were requested to help bring the incident under control.

1st: Battalion 62, Battalion 61, Engine 66, Medic 66, Engine 64, Medic 64, Engine 6, Engine 77, Truck 74, SAM 71

At 12:40 North Metro, Thornton, Federal Heights, and Westminster Fire were dispatched to residential structure fire at 1306 W 101st Place with RP reporting a fire in the garage. First arriving companies noted smoke in the area and arrived to a working fire. All parties were accounted for, one dog was removed, and all searches were negative.

North Metro: Battalion Chief 62, Truck 62, Medic 62
Westminster: Engine 6, Engine 4, Engine 2, Medic 4, Battalion Chief 1, SAM 1.
Thornton: Engine 72, Medic 72
Federal Heights: Engine 41
