🚨 FATAL CRASH IN GRAND PRAIRIE 🚨

The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a deadly collision that happened around 2:30 AM today near Marshall Drive & SW 3rd.

Police say a Nissan passenger car left the road and hit a tree. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe speed may have been a factor.

The victim’s name will be released by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office after family is notified.

The investigation is ongoing.

🚨 Officer-Involved Shooting – Irving, TX 🚨

📅 Date/Time: August 9, 2025 – 3:34 AM
📍 Location: 1400 block of N. Nursery Rd.

Irving Police responded to a call about a suspicious person. Officers found 25-year-old Arlington Fuentes-Murillo, who was armed with a gun and refused to follow commands.

➡️ One officer fired their weapon, striking the suspect at least once.
➡️ Officers gave life-saving aid until medics arrived.
➡️ The suspect was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Fuentes-Murillo has been charged with Aggravated Assault on a Public Servant.

📌 Both criminal and administrative investigations are underway, along with a Dallas County Public Integrity Unit investigation.
