I’m sure you’ve seen the various emoji moodboard trends popping up literally everywhere on social media.

Never in a million years did I think this was going to happen to me.

This morning, the morning anchor at came to our studio to record a segment with me.

Yes, with me. Like… what!?

Not just an interview, but a full tour of and the story behind how it all started.

I’ve been trying to process what that even means for the past few days.

I’ve poured absolutely everything into this space.
Quietly. Constantly. For the past year.
Without ever expecting something in return.

And honestly? I’m still wondering how this even happened.

But here’s what I do know:
The behind-the-scenes work no one claps for matters more than we think.

Sometimes the reward shows up while you’re deep in the work, not looking for attention.

Today was one of those days.

Social media marketing never looked better in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The new business name is registered ✔️

The social media handles secured ✔️

And the website is about to officially launch ✔️

It’s been year 5 of building

Now it’s time to go big.

What started as a personal brand has grown into a full-on business with a team of 6 powerhouse women, a thriving studio space @ GR Creator Studio and a whole lot of learning along the way.

Opening West Michigan’s first content creation studio wasn’t just about building a space.

It was about building community.

Workshops, local creator events, and real conversations about what it takes to show up online in a meaningful way have completely shaped this chapter.

We’ve grown in every sense; gained a significant amount of new local clients, capabilities, creative output but what I’m most proud of is the momentum that’s still building.

Here’s to more bold moves, late nights (and maybe some early mornings 😅), and a whole lot of main feed moments ahead 😉

NOT anyone can create content that performs!

I’ve hosted two UGC workshops this month already and let me tell you there are A LOT of misconceptions out there.

🚨UGC isn’t just filming yourself with a product.

It’s:

→ Knowing how to hook someone in the first 3 seconds

→ Telling a story with strategy behind it

→ Making content feel real and perform like marketing

→ Understanding briefs, platforms, and buyer psychology

It’s part acting, part content creation, part sales psychology.

And not everyone’s built for that.

If you’ve been treating UGC as casual or low-tier content, it’s time to rethink your strategy as a business AND as a UGC creator.

UGC and influencer content serve different purposes.

Smart brands use both.

Smarter brands know the difference.

Thats the question someone asked me last week during a consultation call…

Fair question. But let’s be real.

If your content isn’t performing, your strategy is unclear, and your visuals aren’t landing and tbh ChatGPT isn’t the problem.

And using it isn’t the solution.

I use AI tools every day, for brainstorming, refining, speeding things up.

But they’re only powerful if you know what good looks like.

AI can assist.

It can’t replace taste, judgment, experience, or strategy.

The real work? That’s in knowing what to ask, what to ignore, and how to shape the output into content that actually moves people.

Use the tools. But don’t forget who’s driving ;)
