I went for a walk earlier this week. I live on the west side of Michigan, and we were in the middle of a snowstorm. Our neighborhood roads were covered in about five inches of snow. It was cold enough that the snow just slid over itself, so as I walked it quickly became clear that my priority wouldn’t be speed, but balance—don’t fall down.
It took me twice as long to walk my normal mile, not because my body was weak or incapable, but because the foundation beneath me was unstable.
Fertility is similar. It’s the result of a body with a solid enough foundation to support a major effort. But when the body has to use all of its energy just trying to stay upright or on course, the wisdom within isn’t saying “no,” it’s saying, “not right now.” Going faster or doing more isn’t in the cards.
It’s not an issue of whether your body is capable. It’s about solidifying your foundation so reproduction can become a priority again. This is the kind of fertility support I offer. Doing the right things at the right time. Filling in the foundation first.
