Educate yourself ♥️

You need your menstrual cycle to be healthy. It's not just about fertility — ✨ A natural menstrual cycle helps:

- Support brain growth and neuroplasticity
- Regulate mood and reduce inflammation
- Maintain healthy communication between the brain and ovaries

Your brain and hormones need each other.

Hormonal birth control can:
- Decrease serotonin (mood regulator)
- Raise SHBG levels (making natural hormones less available)
- Shrink the hypothalamus (key for mood, s*x drive, appetite & sleep)

Many women experience:
- Mood swings or depression
- Brain fog or "numbness"
- Loss of connection with their emotions

Your body knows the difference between natural and synthetic. When you ovulate naturally, your brain:

✔️ Builds cognitive resilience
✔️ Maintains neuroplasticity
✔️ Prepares for future stress
✔️ Stays in sync with your mood and body

🩸 A real period = a signal your brain is doing what it’s meant to do.

They say only 1 in 20 women struggle with PMDD…

But I truly believe it’s more than that — because so many women are dismissed, misdiagnosed, or never even told it exists.
If your mood shifts feel unbearable around your cycle… please know, it’s not “just hormones.”
Keep asking questions. Keep tracking. Keep fighting for answers‼️💜

This isn’t the real you — it’s PMDD playing tricks on your mind and heart. Breathe through it. You are still in there. You are worthy, lovable, and stronger than you feel right now. 💜

PMDD is not just in your head — it’s real, it’s hard, and it’s valid. But so are you. So is your strength. So is your fight to keep going, even on the days that break you.

You are not alone. There is hope. There is help.
Hold on. Heal loud. You are not too much — you are a warrior ‼️‼️‼️

PMDD is not “just” PMS. It’s a hormonal disorder that hijacks your mind and body.
It’s the breakdowns you can’t explain, the exhaustion that feels endless, and the pain that isn’t visible.
💜 You’re not crazy. You’re not weak. You’re surviving something most people will never understand.

Ever feel like your emotions hijack your life right before your period?
You’re not broken — it might be PMDD.
Mood swings, rage, panic, or deep sadness that cycle monthly aren’t “just PMS.”
You’re not alone, and your feelings are valid. 💛

PMDD is not about being “moody” or “emotional.”
It’s about:
• Sudden, intense mood swings
• Rage that feels uncontrollable
• Crippling anxiety and depression
• Feeling disconnected from yourself and the people you love
• Suicidal thoughts—for 30% of those affected

And it happens like clockwork—every cycle—only to vanish after your period, leaving you feeling like you barely survived yourself.

There is no cure yet. Many are misdiagnosed. Some are dismissed completely.
Awareness = hope.
Education = change.
Empathy = life-saving.

If you’ve never heard of PMDD, now you have.
If you have PMDD, you’re not alone. And your pain is valid.
Let’s break the silence. Let’s fight for better care, research, and support.
