Disagreement, contextually, is evidence.
Most paranormal gear looks for sensors that agree. PHANTOM pays close attention when they disagree.
Here is why that matters. In our Pennhurst experience, radar tracked something moving. At the same spot, in the same instant, the IR depth sensor that relies on photons could not see anything there. Thermal picked up a cold signature. The floor sensors registered no footsteps. Audio detected no acoustics related to footsteps either.
A person trips every one of those. A draft trips none of them. But something that radar and thermal both register, that a depth sensor cannot see, that moves without the weight of a footstep, is a contradiction. And contradictions are hard to fake and hard to explain.
Agreement can be a coincidence. A chance of random correlation. A specific, repeatable disagreement across independent sensors over a period of time measuring different physics is a much stranger thing.
That is what we hunt for. And PHANTOM not only views it in context, but honestly scores it with a tiered system, a confidence, and a chance rate. Did the collaboration in sensors occur in a shared time only (tier 1), time and distance (tier 2) or time, distance and kinetic movement (tier 3)? How confident within that tier are we that it's explainable given current circumstances and compared to a quiet null space? And how often (chance rate) could this happen given sensor error, coincidence, or logic drift or degradation over time? And everything considers if something increases (emf, vibration, etc), PHANTOM monitors bidirectional. It's just as important to check "did light just get absorbed from the room" as it is to check "did light get projected into the room?"
That's honest, real information.
