3-seeds have been cursed tonight. The 3-seeds in the Southeast Missourian, Bloomfield and Eldorado all go out in the quarterfinals.

Either Scott City or Woodland will play for the Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament Championship, after the Rams knocked off Cape Central tonight.

Last time either of these teams reached the championship was SC in 1999. Not to make yall feel old, but I was not born yet.

Crazy night so far from the Show Me Center.

Scott City and Cape Central currently battling for the 3rd spot in the final four, Jackson came on strong late to beat Delta while Woodland survived a dramatic comeback attempt from Chaffee.

And..... DONE! That's the first round of the Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament in the books.

All 8 of the top seeds advance, except for Bell City who was upset by #10 Chaffee.

Winner's bracket play resumes at the Show Me Center, Saturday at 4:30 with Delta vs. Jackson.

The first round of the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament is in the books! All 8 of the top seeds advance -- Van Buren suffered quite the scare when Richland stormed back to force OT, in what was the best game of the day.

Winner's bracket play resumes at Bloomfield at 4pm tomorrow with Dexter vs. East Carter.
