Do I think Nixon should be paid more? Here’s my take

Ranked 7th CB ranking for tackling
58 solo tackles
14 Assists
3 TFL
72 combined

Missed only 4 tackles all season
Nixon is ranked 6th-best missed tackle rate

Overall PFF Grade: 66.4 41st

Coverage Grade: 67.8 35th

Run Defense Grade: 66.6 40th

I have to admit, those stats does look impressive. But do I think that he deserves to be paid as the highest CB? No.

Does he have the potential to become our CB1? Maybe?

I know everyone will Nick pick certain games. For example the packers@ bears regular season. DJ Moore goes up for the winning TD and Nixon gets burnt on that route. Which is a good point. But you also have to acknowledge he did well (not elite) enough throughout last season.
Apparently there’s been rumors of him holding out for a new contract. If it’s true, he’s market price would be around 9-10 million a year but it varies.

What do I think about Caleb Williams being on the cover for Madden 27?

From what I’ve been reading and watching. Tons of NFL fans are claiming he hasn’t achieved anything to be put on the cover.
Don’t get me wrong, I do believe he will be elite coming this season. I know a lot of fans don’t like the guy. But it’s not his fault that Madden put him on the cover.

From looking back at the older covers of Madden. You have tons of players like saquon, CMC, Josh Allen, tom Brady/ Mahomes, Lamar Jackson. All of those players has achieved a lot in their careers.
I’m not saying Caleb won’t, but that’s what most NFL fan are claiming.

In conclusion I honestly don’t mind it. Regardless of how other fans feel, they’re going to buy the game anyways. But congrats for Caleb being on the cover. I hope the madden curse doesn’t get to him. Watching him making side throws are crazy. But I don’t want to see him get hurt.

Remember this is just my opinion, trash me all you want. Knowing other packers fans will comment down. “You’re not a real Packer fan if you don’t hate Da Bears 🐻”

With the Josh jacobs case going on. Do I trust our RB room depth? No… non of them hasn’t proved they can be a starter. But here’s the packers could potentially target before the preseason.

1.) Tyler allgeier (cardinals)
4th or 5th round pick

2.) James Connor (cardinals)
4th round pick

3.) Issac Guerrero (49ners)
4th round pick

4.) Brenden Allen (jets)
4th round pick

5.) Najee Harris (free agent)
6.) Nick chubb (free agent)
