WIScamping Review: Timber Trail Campground in Algoma, WI.
Our visit to Timber Trails wasn’t our first time here, but it had been a few years since our last stay. It was great to return and see everything this campground has to offer!
One thing we really love about Timber Trails is that while it may be smaller than some private campgrounds (which is not a bad thing!), it still packs in many of the amenities you’d expect from a larger campground. Temperature controlled pool? Check. Playground and kids area? Check. Swimming pond and beach? Check. Dog Park? Check. Arcade? Absolutely for both kids and adults!
One of the coolest moments during our visit was seeing campers gathering in the arcade shed to watch the Brewers game together on the big screen TV. Those are the little things that create a great campground atmosphere.
There is honestly a lot to love about Timber Trails, and the owners are an awesome couple who put a ton of care and passion into making this campground a great place for families and campers.
Plus, you get the added bonus of being just minutes away from downtown Algoma!
Our family favorites:
Chris (45): The arcade area because... there's enough for kids and adults alike. Pull tabs, penny pushing game, buffaloes, crane game plus the big screen TV always played the Brewers game while we were there! And, my favorite stop? Ahnapee Brewery, Algoma - loved their Chocolate Hobo!
Ashley (43): The pond and beach. We sat out with our family letting the kids get knee deep in the water and just taking the time to relax!
Bryn (15): The pool - I loved laying out on the chairs and the best part about the pool is that it was at the perfect temperature!
Harper (12): The bounce pillow. I had a ton of fun with my family jumping on it for a long long time!
