Laura Jane Vincent is a performer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter hailing from rural southeast North Carolina. She writes ballads of strength, loss, and triumph, weaving stories of those who should know better but simply can't help themselves. Rooted in Southern musical traditions of songwriting and storytelling, her music is also influenced by indie sounds, which shine through in her melodies and guitar riffs.
As the CEO of her record label, Street Place Entertainment, Laura Jane takes pride in representing artists and fostering their career growth. Her label offers PR, booking, management, events, promotions, and more. She is also the creator and curator of the biannual music festival, Glendonfest.
Laura Jane's latest album, “All These Machines,” was released in February 2020. Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, she is currently working on her third full-length album with Black Rabbit Audio, slated for release in winter 2023, followed by a regional U.S. tour of the East Coast and Midwest (The Center for Female Sovereignty) (Sonicbids).
