The Spirit of Antichrist is two-fold.
1. It manifests itself in the political arena. In the OT you see it through the realm of Ni**od, Pharoah, Korah, The Wicked Kings, Empires, etc. During the Intertestimental Period through leaders like Antichus Epiphanes. In the New Testament though the Herod Dynasty, the Roman Persecitions etc. In history through Empires, Governments, etc. All of this lays the foundation for The Antichrist to come on the scene.
2. However, church wise it happens as well. We are warned by Paul and John about this. This form comes through false doctrine, greed, and routine. It's a form of Godliness.
To combat this we must have discernment which is a gift of the Holy Spirit, therefore we must believe the Spiritual Gifts are for and needed for the church today. We can't overcome deception without it.
Matthew 24:3-5, 1 John 4:1-4, 1 Corinthians 12:4-8

In 1 Thessalonians 2:18, Paul highlights that if you're pursuing significant work for God's Kingdom, you can expect opposition from Satan. He will attempt to deter you and create obstacles to prevent you from fulfilling your purpose. This is because when you align with God’s will, powerful changes occur that threaten Satan’s influence.

Paul shares his own experience of being hindered by Satan from visiting the Thessalonians. The Greek word for "hindered" suggests being pushed out of a race or having a road blocked. Such hindrances may delay your plans, but they don’t have to stop you. Paul faced numerous challenges, yet he didn’t give up. For instance, when he had to leave Ephesus due to danger, he didn't despair. Instead, he organized a meeting with the Ephesian elders in Miletus, showing that he found alternative ways to accomplish God’s work.

Paul's attitude was one of determination. He believed that opposition wouldn’t defeat him; he would find a way to fulfill his calling. We too should adopt this mindset. The devil will always try to impede us, but we must persist in our mission, looking for new paths to achieve our goals.

When faced with obstacles, instead of surrendering, commit to pressing forward. Trust that the Holy Spirit will guide you to new solutions. With perseverance, you’ll overcome challenges and fulfill your divine purpose, leaving the devil regretful for trying to stop you.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

The Bible has been banned, burned, ridiculed, and mocked. Scholars have dismissed it as foolishness, and kings have declared it illegal. Time and again, people have tried to bury it, yet the Bible never stays buried. Not only has it survived, but it has also thrived. It is the most popular book in history, consistently the best-selling book in the world!

There’s no way to explain this phenomenon except to say that its endurance comes not from this earth, but from heaven. For the millions who have tested its claims and embraced its promises, the conclusion is clear—the Bible is God’s book and His voice.

The purpose of the Bible is to reveal God’s plan and passion to save His children. This is why it has stood the test of time. It serves as a treasure map that leads us to God’s greatest treasure: eternal life.
