Police say a man was found shot at a Circle K gas station around 5:55 a.m.

Shortly after, a car crash on West Boundary Street led officers to discover Arriel Denton in the back seat, also fatally shot.

Police are searching for suspect Darian Montrell McKinnsey, believed to be responsible for both deaths

🚨Man who sh*t his wife 15 times the day after she served him with divorce papers sentenced to 25–50 Years in PRISON

Marcus Lofton, 44, has been sentenced to 25-50 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. Lofton sh*t his wife, 38-year-old Alicia Lofton, 15 times on Aug. 17, 2023, the day after she served him with divorce papers.

The couple had been married for just six months.

In court, Alicia’s family said she hid the marriage from them because they never liked him. Her father called Marcus a “coward” and said the court didn’t truly humanize Alicia during the trial.

Alicia’s daughter, Brooklyn, gave an emotional speech, saying her mother missed her college graduation because of what Marcus did.

The judge said little but agreed with the victim’s father:

“Mr. Joseph said it best.”

Lofton didn’t speak during sentencing.

He’ll serve 2 years for firearm use and 25–50 years for murder — but Alicia’s family says no sentence can ever heal their pain.

🚨He Lost His Life Protecting His Pregnant Mom.... Suspect Sentenced to Life

11-year-old Jayden Perkins lost his life after he was st*bbed to death on March 13, 2024, while protecting his pregnant mother, LaTerria Smith, during a home invasion in Edgewater, Chicago.

The attacker, Crosetti Brand, was her ex-boyfriend who had just been released from jail a day before the attack.

He broke into their home and st*bbed Smith 15 times. Jayden tried to defend her and was fatally st*bbed in the chest. His 5-year-old brother saw it all happen.

On August 5, 2025, Brand was sentenced to life in prison without parole, plus 60 years for home invasion.

🚨 Raki Henderson, a 17-year-old boy in Milwaukee lost his life after crashing into a tree and his car catching fire during a police chase.

Officers had tried to stop him for reckless driving and a felony charge, but he refused to pull over.

The crash happened near West Hampton Avenue.

He died on the scene.

One police officer suffered burns while trying to pull the teen out of the burning car. Two others were taken to the hospital.

🚨Prosecutors in Florida filed a notice of their intent to seek the death penalty against a mother who is accused of murdering her 7-year-old daughter by stomping her to death because the girl spilled cereal.

Naikishia Williams, 32, is facing charges of first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse in the April 28 death of Nia Williams in Riviera Beach.

She was indicted in June. The state on Monday argued that Williams' alleged actions met the qualifications to seek capital punishment.

🔴 'No lawyer's willing to take the case right now' – Parents Accused After 4-Year-Old Son Was Sh*t Dead Over PS4 Fight

A 35-year-old father, Ralph Taylor, has been accused of shooting and killing his 4-year-old son at their home in Milwaukee on July 10.

According to police, the father woke up angry and started arguing with his 9-year-old child over a missing PS4 game. He then fought with his wife, Cassandra Taylor, and broke her laptop. Shortly after, he took the 4-year-old boy upstairs and shot him in the head.

In court on August 6, it was revealed that over 130 lawyers refused to defend Ralph and Cassandra, because of how serious the case is. The judge said he wasn’t surprised no one wanted to take it. Ralph finally got a public defender just before the hearing, but Cassandra still has no lawyer.

Cassandra is also facing charges for child neglect leading to death. She cried in court.

Both parents will return to court on August 22.

🚨Fla. Woman Arrested on Accusation of Impersonating Nurse and Treating Over 4,400 Patients Despite Not Having a Valid License

A 29-year-old Florida woman, Autumn Bardisa, has been arrested after allegedly treating over 4,400 patients without ever having a real nursing license.

Bardisa was picked up from her Palm Coast home wearing her nurse uniform, even though authorities say she was never licensed to treat a single patient.

It turns out she had been working at AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway since July 2023.

She told the hospital she had passed the national exam and used another nurse’s license number. When asked for her marriage certificate (to explain the different name), she never brought it in.

Despite that, she was still promoted in January 2025! That’s when a suspicious co-worker did a quick license check and found something off: her CNA license had expired long ago.

The hospital called the police. What followed was a 7-month investigation involving state and federal agencies.

Police discovered she used the license info of another nurse who just happened to share the same first name—Autumn. They went to school together, but didn’t even know each other personally.

Now Bardisa is facing serious charges:

👉7 counts of working in healthcare without a license

👉7 counts of fraud and identity theft

She’s being held on a $70,000 bond.
