Last month I traded a three-bedroom house for a two-bedroom apartment.
On paper, it probably doesn’t sound like an upgrade. I gave up space, my yard, and the convenience of pulling right up to my front door. Now I live on the third floor with no elevator, which means every grocery trip, Amazon package, and forgotten item becomes a journey.
But what I gained makes it all worth it.
My neighborhood is quieter. My home feels safer. I actually enjoy being here. Some evenings, I look around my apartment and realize I’ve spent more time enjoying my space in a month than I did in years before.
The stairs are exhausting.
The peace is worth it.
Still Growing,
