Another Prostaff Summit in the Books!

Every year, this week is one of the biggest blessings as we are able to see new and old friends, have tons of fun talking about our passion for hunting, and grow in our common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

In reflecting on this past week, the word that keeps coming to mind is grateful. I am grateful for the opportunity to have a small hand in this great organization of BuckVentures and The Woodsman. I am grateful for the lifelong friendships that have been made. I am grateful for the hard work and labor that our Prostaff has put forth year after year to produce content for The Woodsman brand on social media, YouTube, and National TV. I am grateful for our partners who believe in us whole heartedly and support our mission of sharing our hunting adventures with the world while spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to our leaders all of the volunteers that helped made this event a success. I am grateful for the lives changed through this event, that reminds us that it is SO MUCH MORE than just hunting.

God has blessed us and this platform so much and it is our prayer that we continue to use it for the Glory of God. 2025 is going to be a BIG year for and , Let’s get it!!

It may seem self explanatory, but if you don’t double check to make sure the bait is under the trigger in the cylinder, the c**n ran reach in and steal your bait without tripping the trap! Good luck out there on the trap lines 🤙🏼

Trapping nest predators is one of best ways to help the turkey population, especially during the brooding season. Trapping racc**ns this time of year is super fun and easy with “dog-proof” traps. Get out and trap some varmits; the turkeys will thank you later!

This weekend we celebrated the life of Wesley Weaver, aka “Superman”. Wesley was born with cerebral palsy, but if you were blessed to know Wesley, you know that that didn’t stop him from anything! This man had the biggest heart Christ and others and it was infectious. I was blessed to know Wesley and spend time with him in several deer camps. At first, I thought I was helping Wesley by taking him hunting, but he helped me 10x! And my story with Wesley is not unique. He touched everyone he met in a positive way and used his wheelchair as a platform for Christ, and what an impact he had!

Although we miss him, the grief is just for us, as we know Wesley has knelt before the Lord.
