Sometimes I look back at where this journey started and honestly can’t believe how much has changed.
The first photo? One of my early wheeling trips to Hot Springs in a basically stock Jeep, an aftermarket bumper, some questionable lime green D-rings and me driving to the park hoping for the best.
The second? Me pulling up at Hot Springs towing the Jeep… something I never would’ve imagined back then.
What changed?
I stopped waiting until I felt “ready.”
I put myself out there. I asked questions. I made mistakes. I pushed myself when I was uncomfortable. I forced myself to learn even when it felt overwhelming or hard. I kept showing up anyway.
Growth doesn’t happen when you stay comfortable. It happens when you’re willing to try, fail, learn, and keep going.
I’m incredibly grateful for the people who encouraged me, taught me, wheeled with me, answered my questions, and supported me through the years.
The friendships and community have honestly been one of the biggest blessings of this journey.
There were plenty of moments I doubted myself, felt intimidated, or wondered if I was capable. But every uncomfortable moment, every lesson learned, every challenge pushed me farther than I thought possible when I first started.
If there’s something you want to learn, do, or become... start. Even if it feels intimidating. Even if you feel behind. You might surprise yourself with what you’re capable of a few years from now.
And for the record… I was pretty proud of those lime green D-rings at the time 🤣 🥴
