π 2025 Was a Record Year for Greenville Firefighters π
The Greenville Firefighters experienced a significant increase in emergency activity in 2025. Our members remained dedicated to protecting our community by responding to emergencies, training, and preparing for whatever challenges came our way.
π By the Numbers:
In 2025, Greenville Firefighters responded to 1,380 incidents, a 20.6% increase from 2024, when the department handled 1,144 calls. This sharp rise highlights the growing demand placed on our firefighters and the importance of having a well-trained, ready, and committed department.
Our firefighters are trained and equipped to handle a wide range of emergencies, including structure fires, vehicle accidents, rescue operations, hazardous materials incidents, and many other emergency situations our community may face.
We want to sincerely thank the residents of Greenville for their continued support throughout the year. Your trust and encouragement mean a great deal to our members, and we take immense pride in serving this community.
As we move forward, we wish everyone a safe, happy, and healthy New Year, and donβt forget to check and change your smoke detector batteries!
