This New Year, 2026, should be amazing, especially coming out of 2025, which by any measure was extraordinary in the world of Little Feat. It began with Sam’s Place being nominated for a Grammy. We followed up with Strike Up the Band, where we had the good fortune to record with Vance Powell in Nashville, a great person to have included in Little Feat’s orbit. A good testament to who you are is who you surround yourself with: Molly Tuttle, Larkin Poe, Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams, Kristen Rogers. On the writing side: Charlie Starr from Blackberry Smoke, Vince Herman from Leftover Salmon, and John Leventhal. We would see Larry and Teresa, along with Charlie Starr, later in the year at Feat Fest in Bearsville. Charlie invited Little Feat to Blackberry Smoke’s High Tides Festival, taking place December in Cancun.

Sprinkled throughout the year were shows with our dear friends Derek and Susan. Shows can become a blur after a while, but the dates with them are always memorable.

We have a great team in place with the Vector Management folks, and our crew that keep the ship righted. We couldn’t do any of it without them. Which leads me to thanking all of you! Your continued support of the band all these years is humbling. You prove year in and year out that you are the best fans in the world. We look forward to 2026 as the collective venture it always is but will draw our focus even closer as we enter a new realm. Over the next couple of years or so, we’ll have time to share each other’s company and rejoice in what drew us together in the first place: Little Feat’s music. That bond cannot be broken. Here’s to a great year and to lasting friendships.

LoweRider Entertaiment was established in 1989 by Sam Lowe. After 30-years in Nashville, LRE will relocate back to the upstate of SC (Greenville), serving venues, theaters, performing arts centers, fairs and festivals throughout the Carolina’s and Georgia.
