We’re signing off for the weekend, but before we do, we just want to say…

He is RISEN!

This Easter, we’re reflecting on the greatest gift we’ve ever been given—a risen Savior who conquered death so we could have life, hope, and freedom. What a joy and blessing it is to know Jesus!

We’re so thankful for this beautiful community, for the ability to do what we love, and most of all—for the cross, the empty tomb, and the promise that we are never alone.

Wishing you and your families a peaceful, joy-filled Resurrection Sunday!

With love,
The Three Sisters Homestead + Bakery family

šŸ§šŸ„³šŸŽ‰ HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY TO MAGNOLIA!! šŸ§šŸ„³šŸŽ‰
Some of you know her story. You know her struggles from being born almost 4 months early to all the therapies she had to undure. We never were able to hold her until after a week old. Then Robert could not hold her until 2 weeks old because it was one person at a time once a week for the first few weeks.
Now ... If you know her you would never think she was a premie. She towers over most kids her age, she runs circles around them, and keeps us guessing all day everyday.
We are so incredibly proud of her and all she has overcome. She is strong, fierce, and loving all at the same time.
Happy 7th Birthday!

šŸ„– Community Over Competition šŸ„–

One of the best parts about being at the Frosty Farmers Winter Market is getting to share the space with other amazing bakers—like Vintage Crust!

We both love bringing fresh, handmade bread to the community, but what’s even better? We each have our own unique spin on it! From our sourdough to her incredible pizza rolls, there’s something for everyone. It’s not about competing—it’s about celebrating real food and lifting each other up.

When you shop local, you’re not just getting better food—you’re supporting real families and a thriving community. So come grab a loaf (or two!) from both of us next time you’re at the market. There’s plenty of room at the table.

My hard working wife went to bed around 11pm after working countless hours on this week's bread. She will be back up at 3am to insure the amazing, world famous, delectable Brown buttered chocolate chip cookies with sea salt are baked off along with the baguettes.
I am going to bed at 2am after baking off the last of her amazing 150 sourdough breads. I'll be up at 6 packing the truck and setting up the market. I can't believe it but it's time for a second oven.

150 Loaves… GONE! šŸ„–āœØ

Wow—we sold out of 150 loaves today at the Frosty Farmer Winter Market, and we are feeling so incredibly blessed and grateful. Every week, we’re amazed by how many of you show up, trust us to feed your families, and continue to support our small business.

We know how hard it can be to find real bread—made without seed oils, without preservatives, and never frozen. That’s why we’re so passionate about bringing you authentic, long-fermented sourdough—because your family deserves food that’s as nourishing as it is delicious.

Every loaf we bake is made from simple, wholesome ingredients—crafted by hand, fermented for 48 hours, and always fresh, never frozen. It’s bread the way it was meant to be, and we’re honored to share it with you.

Thank you for letting us be a part of your table and for believing in the work we pour our hearts into. If you missed out today, don’t worry—we’ll be back next week, baking fresh and ready to serve you again. šŸ’›

If you’ve tried our bread, we’d love to hear—what’s your favorite loaf? Let us know below!

Three Little Helpers & A Big Market Day! šŸ’›

Today was extra special because Magnolia (6), Ruby (4), and Ivy (2) got to come along and help us set up at the Frosty Farmer Winter Market! Seeing their excitement and little hands pitching in makes all the early mornings and late nights so worth it.

Fun fact—a lot of people think "Three Sisters" refers to Kalyn and two sisters helping with the bakery, but it’s actually named after our three sweet girls. They inspire everything we do, and it’s a joy to have them be part of the journey.

And wow—what a day! The market was a huge success thanks to everyone who came out to support us and all the other amazing vendors. Your support means the world, and we can’t wait to see you again next week!

One of the greatest joys in this journey of real, nourishing food is finding non-toxic, affordable options—and more often than not, it leads me to the best people.

When you seek out real food, made with care and intention, you’re not just getting a better product—you’re supporting someone’s passion, their hard work, and their mission to make something truly good. Whether it’s a local farmer, baker, or small business owner, I’ve found that the best food comes from the best people.

This is what makes community markets and small-batch makers so special. It’s not just about what we’re eating, but about the relationships we build along the way. I’ll always choose real food and real people over mass-produced convenience.

Have you found a favorite local food source that aligns with this? I’d love to hear about it!

In the midst of all the baking, markets, and everyday hustle, Kalyn and I hit pause to take our three sweet girls out for a special Valentine’s date. We headed to the hibachi grill, where the flames were high, the laughter was loud, and the memories were priceless. Watching their faces light up with every trick from the chef, hearing their giggles, and just soaking in time together reminded us why we do what we do.

It’s easy to get caught up in the work, but these moments—these little dates, the special one-on-one time—this is what makes it all worth it. Building something meaningful isn’t just about business; it’s about family, love, and taking the time to enjoy the people we do it all for.

Hope you all had a beautiful Valentine’s Day filled with love and great food! ā¤ļø
