What a big weekend for Marc’s boys! Joined by ECU Football players (thanks Cayman Reynolds!), Children's Miracle Network - Greenville, NC miracle kids (we love Amelia!) and countless generous people, the Miller and Friends Lemonade Stand is off to a roaring start raising 🚨$1,000🚨 over the weekend!

This week’s Hometown Hero with NuBlue Electric, Plumbing, and Air is Bradley Cannon Jr. and was nominated by his wife Alantus, who writes:

Bradley is a true community hero whose heart for service, music, and advocacy has positively impacted countless lives.
As a mentor to youth from all backgrounds—especially boys in underserved areas—he uses music as a powerful tool to reach children, including those with autism and non-verbal challenges. Currently, he is standing up for the students of Snowden by fighting to prevent the school’s closure. As a music teacher and advocate, he goes beyond the classroom, inspiring and empowering his community through leadership, faith, and action. Bradley also played a key role in helping to establish a medical center in a rural area, showing his deep commitment to health equity.
He just made history as the first person in Aurora's history to receive the key to the city, as well as a formal proclamation from Mayor Cliff Williams!
Bradley Cannon Jr. embodies what it means to be a game changer, making him more than deserving of the Hometown Hero Award.

It’s a great read for kids ages 7-11, reigniting their imagination and love of reading as they get set to start the new school year!
