It's very important to understand the difference between a Dj and Mc. Even tho many DJs play the roll of an MC doesn't mean every DJ does. Being a dj only requires you to have an outstanding system with music that is requested. MC engages the guest and makes known of any announcements and keeps your timeline in order. When you have a person to both that sets the price up. If someone is charging you under 500 just know you're probably just getting a dj. When the price becomes 1,000 and up is when you receive a dj/MC. Just always have clear communication and always say what you're looking for.
