Shanghai-based California house music producer J.R.G. .r.g has returned with his 2020 EP “To Future Endeavors” （RGV018) , this EP includes 5 Chill House tracks with J.R.G.’s unique west cost vibe, which will be released on Ran Groove, the sub-label of Beijing’s Ran Music.

“This EP was made to accomplish two things for the listener. To keep your body down on the dance floor while also carrying your spirit up to a higher place. I like to keep the rhythms grounded and familiar by using standard gear like the 909 and simple percussion samples. Nothing too fancy because I want to also give the music its space to lift the atmosphere of each song. For this EP, it’s the melodies’, lead’s and solos’ job to tell the vivid stories that your imagination can conjure up.

When musical flourishes aren’t enough for the job, Credit Card comes on board to add her delicately sweet but slightly somber tone to the track What’s Next. I’m very very thankful to have her contributions again.” - J.R.G.

Our latest release Brizzli - “Forecast” (RAN024) is out on all platfomrs today!

Italian born and China based Alessandro Pavanello is a multi-instrumentalist musician and producer, who built a reputation for himself in China’s electronic and live music scene.

Brizzli is his first solo production project - a concept he had been nurturing for the past few years and which synthesizes all his dance oriented musical influences, while using a variety of sound sources: from drum machines and plug-ins, to guitars and synthesizers and blending them together in a raw, organic, and spacey sound texture.

We are excited to present a new release from Brizzli who is an Italian born and now Shanghai-based multi-instrumentalist musician and producer.

His first release “Forecast” (RAN024) is a collection of tracks about personal reflection, changes in life and reconnecting to nature - an introspective EP where deep vibes, organic textures and live instruments, meet in a blurry, yet atmospheric soundscape.

We are back with another single from Beijing-based bass music producer Radiax.

About the track:
‘Riddim Up’ is a tune absolutely going for the dance floor. It’s got the groovy head nod Hip Hop vibe, when it suits as well in a bass banging night.

About Radiax:
Radiax is a true second generation Drum and Bass pioneer in China who has been around for over 10 years. Radiax has definitely made his name more well-known in the Bass Music scene after his last release with the Hospital Records (on the ‘Sick Music 2020’ compilation), as well as the EP ‘Beijing Banger’ on Unchained in 2019 which got likes from various big names as My Nu Leng, Sub Focus, 12th Planet, EI (Pendulum) and so on. A highly prolific producer as he is, Radiax has been also writing beats for a number of mainstream singers and rappers. He is certainly someone to follow in the scene who will always put out music mixed with diverse styles full of surprises.

About the Single Series:

We have launched the ‘Ran Rad Single Series’ in 2019, which functions as a fast channel to deliver fresh music from upcoming young artists. We hope to get to know more young talents through this platform, and of course to also spread their music to the bassheadz community. So far including Riddim Up, four tunes have been out. The first three are: Artificial from DJ Yum Yum, Dustcape from DRANQ and Jacking Swing from Negative 808.

Shanghai-based music producer HUAN HUAN （aka Diamond Lil)‘s first 12” EP “One Big Bug” on Ran Music’s sub-label Ran Groove，is out on Kompakt now!

The EP includes 3 dance tracks with influences from Electro, Industrial and Techno music. There’s also a remix from her good friend Fishdoll. Being deeply involved in Shanghai’s club scene, HUAN HUAN’s debut EP is a re-interpretation of her aesthetic towards club music. Her usual deep and exquisite sounds have turned into a more minimalistic and industrial direction which you can hear in the classic Electro grooves, aggressive modern sub-frequency sound design and random industrial noise in the background. The listener can find the trail of the modern techno direction as well as feel the smell of an electro revival, together with Fishdoll’s contrasting flavor remix, presenting us this amazing EP.
