I have some extra time now and want to start painting again but need to make some room. Smaller prints $20-25 are 5x7 watercolors, mid range are 8x10 watercolors and more expensive are larger oils ranging from 12x12 to 11x17.

Let me know if you’re interested in any of these or a commissioned painting. Maybe soon I will have a weird art show with other weird artists.

At some point in every young girl’s life, she says wishfully to herself, “One day, I want to be a mermaid.”

Una is that girl who did not let her dreams become memes. She is not only a Professional Mermaid, but also the Sea Priestess behind the Portlandia Mermaid Parade.

Also, she converted a trailer into a 900 gallon swim tank, because that’s just what you do when you have a PhD in Transformational Psychology.

Though she’ll be noticeably trailer-less at the upcoming Weird Fest, she’ll be floating around for photos on September 7th!

Hi folks, Weird Portland United, the only non-profit dedicated to all things weird, is hosting the very first Portland Weird Fest on Sept 7th at Oaks Park. We are looking for volunteers to help us make this event successful.
Volunteer roles will include but not limited to
Setting up tents and games
Assisting vendors with load in and load out
Manning kids game booths
Ticket booth
Vendor relief
Swag booth
Beer Sales Booth

Incentives for volunteering include
A free ticket for you and two additional free tickets each
Lunch, snacks and drink
Choose between free Weird Fest t-shirt or f***y pack to rock your weird with pride
Hob Nob with some of Portland's favorite Weirds like the Unipiper, Portland Sleestak, Una the Mermaid and myself, Aurelia Stardancer, Centaur about town.

The set up time is from 9am-12am
Tear down town is from 5pm-6pm
booths and games can be done in shifts so that you can still enjoy the event.
