2,500 followers on Facebook?! 🖤🌿

Honestly… thank you.
What started as honest conversations about intimacy, relationships, healing, s*x, nervous systems, trauma, communication, and “please for the love of God, wash your ass” somehow turned into this incredible community.

Thank you for sharing the posts.
Thank you for laughing with me.
Thank you for trusting me with the hard conversations.
Thank you for helping normalize real talk about relationships, desire, emotional health, and connection.

This community is growing because YOU continue showing up for yourselves and each other.

Now let’s see what kind of chaos we can create on the road to 5,000. 🔥

You cannot run on stress, caffeine, overstimulation, emotional exhaustion, and survival mode… then expect your body to magically shift into “s*xy goddess” or “fully available partner” energy on command.

That’s not how arousal works.

Your nervous system plays a HUGE role in desire, intimacy, erections, or***ms, pleasure, and connection. When your body feels overwhelmed, unsafe, touched-out, emotionally disconnected, or mentally overloaded, intimacy often becomes the first thing to shut down.

And honestly?
That’s not failure.
That’s biology.

✨ Foreplay starts outside the bedroom.
✨ Desire needs safety, connection, rest, and emotional presence.
✨ Sometimes the s*xiest thing you can do is regulate your nervous system and stop treating yourself like a machine.

So if intimacy has felt “off” lately, maybe the question isn’t:
“What’s wrong with me?”

Maybe the real question is:
“When was the last time I actually felt relaxed?”

Your Libido Isn’t Broken… Your Nervous System Is Tired. 🌿

Let’s normalize something real for a second:

You cannot run on stress, caffeine, overstimulation, emotional exhaustion, and survival mode… then expect your body to magically shift into “s*xy goddess” or “fully available partner” energy on command.

That’s not how arousal works.

Your nervous system plays a HUGE role in desire, intimacy, erections, or***ms, pleasure, and connection. When your body feels overwhelmed, unsafe, touched-out, emotionally disconnected, or mentally overloaded, intimacy often becomes the first thing to shut down.

Is your p***s filing HR complaints during s*x? 😱 Let’s talk about why this happens!

Tag someone who needs this reminder! ✨

If your p***s only works during p**n but seems to have issues during partnered s*x, it’s not just you. Stress, anxiety, performance pressure, low testosterone, and lack of sleep can all play a role.

Remember, your s*xual health is a part of your overall health. It’s not about weakness or age. Hydrate, move your body, and communicate with your partner. And for the love of intimacy, ease up on the grip!

Happy Male Monday! Now, go emotionally regulate and drink some damn water! 💧

We are not playing small this year.

We are disrupting silence.
Disrupting shame.
Disrupting the version of ourselves that learned to survive by swallowing truth to keep other people comfortable.

Life is too short for:
• hidden truths
• performative relationships
• emotional starvation
• bad communication
• bad s*x
• pretending you’re “fine” while dying inside quietly

This is the year we start showing up honestly.
For ourselves.
For our relationships.
For our bodies.
For our needs.
For our pleasure.
For the conversations we should have had years ago.

No more shrinking.
No more disconnecting from ourselves just to maintain comfort.

Healing is uncomfortable sometimes.
Honesty is uncomfortable sometimes.
Growth is uncomfortable sometimes.

But so is living a life that never felt fully yours.

Welcome to the era of truth, intimacy, nervous system healing, deeper connection, and radical self-awareness. 🖤

You don’t need to be “broken” to want better intimacy.

Sometimes you just need a place where you can finally talk about the things nobody taught you how to navigate:
✨ desire
✨ shame
✨ pleasure
✨ emotional disconnection
✨ performance anxiety
✨ kink & curiosity
✨ communication
✨ the nervous system underneath it all

That’s the work.
Not surface-level “spice it up” advice.
Root-level understanding.

At Intimate Roots, s*x therapy meets real conversation.
No judgment.
No pretending.
No pearl clutching.

Just evidence-based therapy, human connection, and a therapist who can explain attachment wounds and or***ms in the same session. 🖤

Emotionally available.
Trauma-informed.
Kink inclusive.
Fueled by boundaries & caffeine.

To the mothers holding everything together while quietly carrying the weight of everyone else…
This is your reminder that you are allowed to be more than exhausted survival mode.

Motherhood is beautiful.
It is also overwhelming, lonely, overstimulating, emotional, identity-shifting, and deeply human.

Today isn’t just for celebrating what you do for everyone else.
It’s also about honoring you — the woman underneath the schedules, laundry, caregiving, mental load, and constant pressure to “do it all.”

Take the nap.
Book the therapy session.
Ask for help.
Say no.
Eat the damn dessert.
Protect your nervous system.
Choose softness where you can.

Because a regulated, supported, emotionally healthy mother matters too.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women surviving, healing, nurturing, rebuilding, grieving, growing, and loving through it all. 🤍

Erectile dysfunction isn’t just about “not getting hard.”
And honestly? That misunderstanding keeps a lot of men stuck in silence longer than they need to be.

ED can be connected to:
• Stress & anxiety
• Performance pressure
• Low testosterone or hormone shifts
• Blood flow & cardiovascular health
• Nerve damage
• Medication side effects
• Depression, trauma, burnout, and nervous system overload

Your body is communicating something.
The goal isn’t shame. The goal is understanding the cause so you can actually treat the problem.

Too many men blame themselves instead of getting support.

And partners—this matters too.
ED is rarely just “a s*x issue.” It affects confidence, connection, avoidance patterns, emotional intimacy, and relationships as a whole.

There is help. There are answers. And no, you are not the only one dealing with it.

I’ve been quietly working on something behind the scenes…

And for the first time in a long time, my website actually feels like me.

Not the polished version.
Not the “safe” version.
Not the version that sounds like every other therapist online.

The real one.

The one that says:
👉 intimacy is deeper than communication
👉 desire isn’t something you force
👉 and most people aren’t broken… they just don’t understand what’s actually happening in their body or relationship

Because that’s the truth.

Most people don’t come to therapy because everything fell apart.

They come because something feels off…
and they can’t explain why.

That’s the work I do.

Not surface-level advice.
Not “just communicate better.”

Real, root-level change.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected. from yourself, your partner, or your body…

You’re not alone.

And you’re not stuck.
