Imagine the ultimate flavor collision: Snickers Cookies, where the iconic candy bar meets its perfect match in a buttery, golden dough. Every bite is a high-stakes treasure hunt of ooey-gooey caramel, salted roasted peanuts, and melty milk chocolate. With their irresistible "chewy-meets-crunchy" texture, these cookies are a total crowd-pleaser that turn a simple snack break into a full-blown celebration.
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped Snickers (about 1 regular-sized bar)
1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup Nutella warmed for drizzling (optional)
Instructions:
Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
Fold the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
Fold in the chopped Snickers bars, dry roasted peanuts, and chocolate chips.
Pro tip: If the dough seems too dry, you can add an additional tablespoon of softened butter or a splash of milk.
Using a spoon (or cookie scoop), drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto a prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 1/2 - 2 inches between each cookie.
Place the cookie sheet in the fridge for at least 1 hour. (Optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)
Pro tip: If not chilling dough, start your preheat prior to mixing.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden.
Cool for 3-5 minutes, then transfer to cooling rack
Optional Garnish:
Warm Nutella in microwave for 30 seconds & drizzle over cookies using a spoon or knife.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 12 minutes
