Stetson Law Review would like to take a moment to spotlight an Article by Sean Caufield, a SLR 3L Senior Associate. Sean’s Article “The Wrong Target for the Right Whale” explores the histories of the country’s largest lobster fishery and the right whale, analyzes the legal battle over the new regulations, and posits that these new regulations, while well intended, nevertheless improperly target and damage the Maine lobster industry to an extent that warrants judicial interference.

Hope’s Article “Face Value: A Proposal for Federal Regulation of Facial Recognition Technology (FRT) Companies” addresses the benefits of FRT as well as the potential consequences for Americans if FRT is left unregulated.
