🚨House votes to condemn socialism — 192 Democrats vote NO
The U.S. House just passed H.Res. 1490, a resolution condemning “socialism in all its forms,” including the Democratic Socialists of America, and opposing socialist policies in the United States.
Final vote: 220–192.
Only 8 Democrats voted yes. Two voted present. The rest of the Democratic caucus voted against it.
The resolution also reaffirmed support for voter ID, proof of citizenship to vote, and the SAVE America Act.
Several Democrats said that election-security language — not the socialism language alone — was why they voted no.
Still, the raw numbers are striking: nearly the entire House Democratic conference declined to support a measure that formally denounces socialism.

Jury still deadlocked in Lindsay Clancy trialJurors in Plymouth, Massachusetts, have been deliberating for four days and told the judge they cannot reach a unanimous verdict in the case of Lindsay Clancy, the mother charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of her three children in 2023.
Judge William Sullivan has instructed them to continue working. The defense argues she was in the grip of postpartum psychosis and should not be held criminally responsible. Prosecutors say she acted with awareness and planning.
Rob Finnerty walked through the evidence on NEWSMAX and pointed to signs she understood what she was doing that day.
The case has also drawn strong public reactions, with many supporters gathering outside the courthouse.
