So incredibly amazed and proud of senior writer Calleigh Hoffman! Her screenplay, SYD, was filmed and in The Maryland International Film Festival. Another of our writers, Avery Morgan, took his first step toward directing. They, along with the other awesome BISFA students from Cinematography and Art who were involved just won Best High School Film at the festival. Thank you so much to the amazing teachers at BISFA, Kristen Green and Brandy Merchant who know the power of collaboration ♥️.

On this dazzling red carpet, surrounded by filmmakers, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride and excitement. Our incredible students have poured their hearts and creativity into their films, and now they’re shining brightly for the world to see. 🌟
I am deeply honored to have played a small part in their journey. They’ve taught me as much as I’ve taught them—lessons about resilience, passion, and the magic of storytelling. 📽️

These students are amazing! Dedicated to their craft, beyond wicked witty and with it! They have written, workshopped, performed, pushed boundaries. I can’t wait to see where they take this. I couldn’t be more proud of who they are and what they do,

It was an adventure getting to see The Infinite Wrench in action. Several students were audience participants, much to their joy! We have so many to thank for making all of this possible. Overwhelmed with gratitude today.

Workshop day one was a success! We learned how writing these plays ask us to connect as a group of writers. We wrote together, we talked and did exercises, students acted out some of their plays and got feedback from our professional, Lee the fabulous! All in all, it has been a great experience. Tonight we see their performance!
