Florida ranches aren’t just about cattle. They’re about keeping historically undeveloped tracts of land free of development, protecting wetlands, caring for wildlife, and connecting the Florida Wildlife Corridor. Ranchers work every day to protect soil and water resources and preserve the landscapes that make Florida home. When you choose Florida beef, you’re not only enjoying a delicious meal. You’re standing with the people who safeguard our heritage and natural beauty. Next time you’re shopping for dinner, support local and buy Florida beef.

Happy Thursday!!
This past month has been a whirlwind, we have lots of calves being born right now, even had to assist in one of those births. We’ve been taking care of our pastures as well as our cows. My horse Dott decided she was going to get herself into some trouble (again, she’s our trouble child) thankfully she’s healing up just fine with the help of our vet and regular tending. We went on vacation fully intending on getting some work done and ironing out all the details for dropping our beef reservations instead we had one sick kiddo and a computer that went down🤪. We’ve had a couple bumps but we have been making some beautiful memories along the way! We plan to weigh our steers this month to make sure they’re on track to open up our reservations. I will post an update about that soon!

As America celebrates 250 years of independence, Florida cattle producers continue a tradition of stewardship that began more than 500 years ago.

Since 1521, cattle have shaped Florida’s landscape. Since 1934, the Florida Cattlemen’s Association has worked to protect our heritage and advocate for the future of Florida ranching.

This Fourth of July, we celebrate our nation’s freedom and the enduring responsibility of being Keepers of His Land.
