Hello everyone and welcome to the Memory Lane Project page! For the past few months I’ve been posting videos on Instagram (www.instagram.com/memory.lane.project) but I wanted to create a matching home for it here, too.

For those who haven't seen it yet, I’ve been taking my family’s old home movie footage from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s and using modern editing to turn them into short, stylized vignettes—little glimpses into the past. I like to think of it as, "What would Instagram look like if we had it 40 years ago?" It’s been so fun to see people connect with these! In just a couple of months, my videos have amassed over 100,000 views on Instagram, and it's been so rewarding to connect with "my people"... the ones who love nostalgia, the grainy look of an old home movie, vintage tech, or just a window into everyday life from decades ago before life with cell phones or social media.

I also love sharing general nostalgia from the 80s and 90s, as well as old family photo albums and more! I’ll be moving more of my favorite clips over here in the coming days. (I also have something else fun in the works that I’ll be unveiling soon!)
