Chimera Publishing started when Norm Hood opend a used bookstore in Farmington, CT called Mostly Books in 1975. Norm eventually branched out to publishing Science Fiction and Fantasy Art prints for artists like Don Maitz and Rowena. Leta Davis joined the business in 1983 and they were married in 1985. In the 1990s we began publishing art prints for Brian Froud. Chimera Publishing published its first art book in 2003 and have since published 5 others. Currently we are refocusing on the art print market. We can be found selling on eBay, comic conventions, tattoo shows and pop culture events.
