🌱COPING STRATEGIES: I WORKED WITH MY DAUGHTER ON THIS HEALTH EDUCATION ASSIGNMENT THIS MORNING AND I LEARNED STH👌
Coping strategies are the things we do to manage our emotions when we feel upset, angry, or overwhelmed so we can stay calm, healthy, and emotionally balanced.
Think about these everyday situations:
🔹 Your spouse blames you for missing an important appointment and doesn’t seem to understand your side and you are furious..
🔹 Your child spills a snack on the floor and refuses to clean it up before continuing to eat even after telling him severally..
What do you do in moments like these?
Do you pause and take deep breaths to calm yourself before reacting?
Do you walk away briefly so you don’t react out of anger?
Do you open up a calm conversation with your child to understand why they keep acting out?
There is no single perfect response — but there is a healthy one.

Healthy coping strategies are your own wealth.
They are not for the benefit of the person who offended you — they are for your peace, your emotional health, and your growth.
