Wednesday kicks off the 2025 Festival of the Lakes in Hammond, Indiana. This year's lineup includes:

• Wed. 7/16: John Fogerty 🎸
• Thu. 7/17: Brantley Gilbert 👒
• Fri. 7/18: Akon 🎧
• Sat. 7/19: Third Eye Blind 🎸
• Sun. 7/20: La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de René Camacho 🪇

This will be my fourth year as the official photographer for the event. I'd like to thank Mayor Thomas McDermott Jr. for putting on top-of-the-line concerts in a premiere venue space with a jam packed week of events including a 5K run, fishing derby, golf scramble, car show, polka party, and more.

There are many things that I'm looking forward to this year. Personally, I'm excited to see John Fogerty the most. Third Eye Blind a solid second. I'm also excited to use my brand new concert lens for some stellar night and light shots. My fingers are crossed that the bourbon chicken truck is back, plus all of the other delicious food. I'm also looking forward to seeing all of the regulars that I love seeing year after year, both staff, fans, friends, parks crew, police officers, stage handlers, and everyone in between. A lot of work goes into these events with a year of advanced planning, finding musical acts, setup and breakdown.

The temperature this week looks cooler than the past multi-week heat wave, so that is good news. Come out and enjoy a show!
