OK Folks - big Announcement! We will be downsizing our studio and moving to a smaller, private studio effective April 1. We will be concentrating on our location recording services and music composition and licensing, and therefore closing the Baltimore Street studio. Scanner back at Sound Works! Just finished tracking 5 songs for their upcoming EP, "In Your Head" and shooting footage for videos of two of the songs. LOVE these guys! So glad they make the choice to come back here year after year for each new album or EP!

Alright! Salem Bottom Boys finished up tracking last night - looking forward to mix. Also - 'bout done with the mix for Chunkhead 's EP - and on the news front, Scanner is now BOOKED and returning in April for another punk-a-tastic EP!

Appreciated a post by Dani Fiore earlier today ... and in that spirit ... here's my test for session drummers ... play this beat and actually stay in the pocket for the whole song ... much more impressive than all the fancy beats, weird signatures, etc. which are gravy if you can do the first thing!
