“Let’s get real: women who were called ‘witches’ weren’t summoning demons—they were often just independent, knowledgeable, and unwilling to bow down to a rigid church system. They healed with herbs, acted as midwives, or simply lived outside the box. That scared the men in charge, so instead of respecting them, they branded them as evil. Calling them witches was never about protecting faith—it was about controlling women.
Christians in power twisted scripture to justify silencing women, stripping them of land, wealth, and dignity. A woman who spoke her mind? Witch. A woman who didn’t marry? Witch. A woman who dared to own property, know science, or practice medicine? Witch. It wasn’t about spells—it was about patriarchy.
And while they were busy burning women at the stake, they called themselves holy. But tell me: what’s more ‘unholy’? A woman making tea from herbs to heal her neighbor, or a mob of so-called Christians torturing her to death in the town square?
If anything, the so-called witches lived closer to Christian values than their accusers—they cared for the sick, helped the poor, and supported their communities without judgment. Meanwhile, their persecutors showed zero compassion, no mercy, and all the cruelty in the world.
So when you look at history, it’s clear: witches weren’t the villains. They were the victims of fear, control, and hypocrisy. Defending them isn’t anti-Christian—it’s pro-truth. And honestly, if believing women deserve freedom, knowledge, and respect makes me a witch—then so be it.” Blessed Be!
