It should have meaning and remind you of the purpose of your business. For us, the name came from the simplicity of a wooden shutter. One that you find covered in chippy

paint, leaning against the wall at the local barn sale. One that may be overlooked because its beauty has diminished over time. One that you can purchase for $5 because the owner just wants to get rid of it. But it is never just a "wooden shutter." Think of all of the things a "wooden shutter" can become...a bench, a shelf, a snowman, an angel. The possibilities are endless. You can bring that "wooden shutter" back to life and restore it to it's original beauty and more. We wanted this to represent what we do in our business. We take old wooden pallets and bring them to life with our paintings. We find that discounted item that no one wanted and make it into a gorgeous centerpiece. We celebrate the original character of all the things we find. We hope you love what we make here at The Wooden Shutter. It is truly our life's dream to be able to share what we do with all of you. So, I was scrolling along the other day and... I found this Egg Nog Pie recipe! 😍

Well, I had just so happened to have bought a brand new container of egg nog the day before, so I had to try making it. 🥰

When I say this is good, I mean it is really good! The whipped topping mixed with vanilla pudding and egg nog is the perfect sweet combination. A little sprinkle of nutmeg completes this oh so yummy pie! 😃

All you have to do is pour it into a pre-baked or graham cracker pie crust and you just made exactly what you will bring to every holiday gathering! 🤗🎄

Haven't tried it?! You need to. Trust me, it's that good!
