While this loop does not show severe thunderstorm warnings, there are currently warnings along this entire line as the thunderstorms move to the south-southeast. Damaging winds are the primary threat, although there has likely been some large hail to the northeast of Raleigh.

ATTENTION EVERYONE THERE IS A EXTREMELY STRONG SEVERE LINE OF STORMS MOVING THIS WAY AND NWS IN RALEIGH'S GOT A LIGHT REFLECTIVITIES RADAR AND THAT SHOWS LARGE HAIL IN THE STORMS MOVING INTO FRANKLIN COUNTY WHICH IS THE RIGHT GOOD WAYS FROM HERE UP NORTH BUT IT'S COMING THIS WAY SHOULD BE HERE BETWEEN 5:00 AND 5:30 IF THEY HOLD TOGETHER IT COULD BE PRETTY ROUGH WITH DAMAGING STRAIGHT ON WINDS AND LARGE HAIL HEAVY RAIN AND DEFINITELY SOME DANGEROUS LIGHTNING....
