2025 is coming to an end, and another wonderful year is around the bend. I had the blessing of 31 babies in the studio, this year. My heart is so happy to receive the honor of capturing these sweet, little ones, and keeping them cozy and safe while I work my magic.

I will have a cream colored backdrop set up, as well as this new black one with gold confetti. Good confetti really gets thrown during these sessions, as well. Soooo fun for all ages!

Miracle At Big Rock is open as a drive through night tonight, and Cookies With Santa photo sessions are still happening! Tonight is the best night you can come for pictures! Being in your car, allows you to stay warm and cozy and drews dress up the kids in cute outfits for pictures, without worrying about being too cold. 👍😊🎅 Come see me and Santa!

If you book a session, you'll park at the big barn next to where we take photos. It's a short walk! Come drive through the lights, have pictures taken, and experience the magic of Christmas.

Had the sweetest baby girl in the studio, last night. She slept so good in the studio. This time of year, we have the in-floor-heat going. Very hot for me down there, but the babies are in heaven!

If you are not yet on my schedule for a newborn session for December or January, let's get that on the books. Spots are filling quick with all the holiday sessions on the way, but I do still have a few openings for newborns and cake smashes.

Happy 4th birthday to this sweet girl! She came for pictures today to celebrate. :) Mom has brought her for the last few years for birthday photos, and that makes my heart so happy.

Our Story

Dream Capture Photography began with a dream. A dream to capture memories for families that will last a lifetime, and to be affordable for everyone.

My name is Krista Ungerecht and I began learning photography in 2009 when first child was born. At the time I was unable to afford professional photos to be taken of her, or of my family. I knew then that I wanted to become a photographer. Not only to capture her own moments, but to be able to offer affordable photography services to others. I believe that everyone should have photo keepsakes to look back on. My rates have always been, and will continue to be, priced in reason. That's part of the "dream!"

In 2014 I moved from Utah to Minnesota to be with the love of my life. Our home is in Sunrise, MN and we have been turning our basement into my full-service studio.
