Had the sweetest baby girl in the studio, last night. She slept so good in the studio. This time of year, we have the in-floor-heat going. Very hot for me down there, but the babies are in heaven!

If you are not yet on my schedule for a newborn session for December or January, let's get that on the books. Spots are filling quick with all the holiday sessions on the way, but I do still have a few openings for newborns and cake smashes.

If I were to set up the Christmas truck for pictures around Christmas, or on Christmas Day.... Would I have interest?
I know many have family that come from out of town and don't always get the opportunity for family photos together. My family isn't too busy for the holidays since it's just us, and no family near us. I don't mind setting up and taking pictures IF there is enough interest in it. 🙂

It's time for the 4th annual "Christmas Card Raffle."

I'm so very thankful to all the new and existing clients, that gave me the pleasure of capturing smiles for them. I am especially thankful for all the families that choose me to capture photos for their Christmas cards, this year. What an honor it is to see my work being shared, with your loved ones, on your Christmas cards!

I know there are many photographer choices out there, so this is my way of thanking those that chose me to capture memorable moments this year. I did this raffle last year, and am excited to offer it again, this year. Here's our "2025 Christmas Card Raffle."
JUST for our 2025 clients.

To Enter: You must mail me a Christmas card that is using a photo taken by Dream Capture Photography this year. Doesn't have to be Christmas. It can be any photo you had taken by me during 2025. Santa sessions, spring, fall, you name it! Anything during 2025 counts. You can even mail a standard Christmas card, and just put a print of a photo I took during 2025 in there. That also counts. Just send a card with a photo included in the envelope.

Prize: We will use all the cards as raffle tickets and will choose one winner from a big bucket on New Years Day. The winner will receive a gift certificate for $100 towards ANY session of their choice. Minis, cake smash, newborn, wedding. Nothing is excluded, if you're the winner.

Cards must be received by December 31st. If you need the mailing address, please message me. It can also be found in your email if you have had a session done recently.

I plan to display all the cards received on the studio wall, until raffle time. I love seeing all the beautiful families, and wonderful cards.

Rules again.... ONLY clients that did a session in 2025 qualify for this raffle. Photo must be a 2025 photo in/or with your Christmas card. Winner chosen on New Years Day.

🎅😊❤️ It's me... Hi 👋. I'm the photographer, it's me. 😘 I can't wait to see all the smiles again for these. Santa Herman is great with the kids, and I'll be taking memorable photos. We're there every Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights. Starting Thanksgiving weekend, through Christmas. Plus a few day time openings, as well. Come visit!

Our Story

Dream Capture Photography began with a dream. A dream to capture memories for families that will last a lifetime, and to be affordable for everyone.

My name is Krista Ungerecht and I began learning photography in 2009 when first child was born. At the time I was unable to afford professional photos to be taken of her, or of my family. I knew then that I wanted to become a photographer. Not only to capture her own moments, but to be able to offer affordable photography services to others. I believe that everyone should have photo keepsakes to look back on. My rates have always been, and will continue to be, priced in reason. That's part of the "dream!"

In 2014 I moved from Utah to Minnesota to be with the love of my life. Our home is in Sunrise, MN and we have been turning our basement into my full-service studio.
