Recently, I had the opportunity to stop over at the legendary J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, PA to witness one of the most anticipated matchups in the city—the rivalry game between William Allen and Dieruff. The atmosphere was electric from the start, as both schools took time to honor their seniors, many of whom were playing or cheering in what could be their final high school game. After the heartfelt tributes, the teams made their way to the field, and the pride of both schools was on full display as their ROTC programs marched out in unison, leading the stadium into a powerful rendition of our national anthem. Once the anthem concluded, the battle began. The game kicked off as a gritty defensive showdown, with both squads making clutch stops on critical fourth downs. But after a few costly interceptions thrown by Allen, Dieruff seized control and never looked back—dominating the rest of the game and securing a 17-2 victory in this storied rivalry. Huge shoutout to the Allentown School District, all the dedicated coaches, passionate players, and supportive parents who make days like this unforgettable. Rivalry games like these are what high school football is all about!

This past week, I had the chance to stop over in Catasauqua, PA to catch a special moment in local sports—the final home football game of the season as the Rough Riders took on Palmerton. From the moment I arrived at the stadium, the energy was electric. Both teams were locked in, warming up, running drills, and practicing plays with laser focus. But once that whistle blew, the non-stop action kicked off and Catasauqua made it clear they came to dominate. Their defense was relentless, shutting down the Bombers multiple times and giving their offense plenty of chances to shine. And shine they did—with a precise, hard-hitting running attack backed by a few well-timed passing plays that kept Palmerton on their heels. By the time the final buzzer sounded, Catty had secured the win and sent their seniors off in style. Huge shoutout to the Catasauqua School District, the dedicated coaches, the passionate players, and the supportive parents who make nights like this possible. But most importantly, hats off to the seniors who may have just played their final game—your grit, heart, and leadership left a mark that won’t be forgotten.

📣 Allentown PA and beyond — I recently had the chance to stop by the Northampton High School sports complex to catch a thrilling 14U girls softball matchup between Upper Milford and Northampton, and let me tell you, it was electric from start to finish. When I arrived, both teams were locked in, warming up and getting dialed in for battle. As soon as the first pitch was thrown, Upper Milford came out swinging — literally — with sharp batting, solid pitching, and lockdown defense that gave them an early commanding lead. But Northampton wasn’t done. In what can only be described as a comeback for the ages, they clawed their way back in the final innings with clutch hits and smart base running, ultimately sealing the deal with a walk-off win that had the crowd on their feet! Huge shoutout to Upper Milford and all the coaches, players, and parents from both sides — that game was a showcase of heart, hustle, and pure love for the sport. 🥎🔥

Recently, I had the chance to stop by the Bethlehem Steelers football field to witness an absolute showdown between two undefeated youth squads—the Bethlehem Steelers and their longtime rivals, the Allentown As. This wasn’t just any game… it was a battle of the unbeaten, with both teams entering the matchup having won every game of the season. When I arrived, the energy was electric—both teams were locked in, warming up and mentally preparing like warriors about to go to battle. And once that whistle blew, the non-stop action kicked off immediately. The Steelers came out firing, jumping to an early lead and never looking back. From the first snap to the final whistle, they dominated every inch of the field, controlling the tempo and making a statement in this high-stakes rivalry. Huge shoutout to the entire Bethlehem Steelers youth organization—the coaches, players, and parents—for the heart, hustle, and unity they bring to the game. This past week, I had the chance to stop by Laurys Station and catch an exciting youth girls softball matchup between two passionate squads—Lower Macungie and their local opponents. As I arrived at the field, the energy was already buzzing: both teams were warming up, coaches were giving last-minute pep talks, and parents lined the sidelines with cameras and cheers ready. Once the first pitch was thrown, the non-stop action kicked in—these young athletes went back and forth with hustle, heart, and a whole lot of spirit. It was a beautiful reminder that at this age, it’s not just about the scoreboard—it’s about learning the game, building confidence, and falling in love with softball. Recently, I had the opportunity to head up the mountain and catch a thrilling girls field hockey matchup between Stroudsburg and Pleasant Valley—and the energy was electric from the moment I arrived at the stadium. Both teams were dialed in during warmups, running drills, practicing stick work, and mentally preparing for battle. You could feel the intensity in the air as the players took the field, and once the whistle blew, the nonstop action began. Stroudsburg wasted no time setting the tone, jumping out to an early lead with crisp passing, aggressive defense, and relentless pressure in the circle. They controlled the pace from start to finish, never letting Pleasant Valley find their rhythm, and ultimately secured a dominant 3-0 shutout victory. The teamwork, hustle, and heart on display were a testament to the preparation and pride behind this program. WILLIAM ALLEN...WHITEOUT! 💙💛

Recently, I had the opportunity to stop over at the iconic J. Birney Crum Stadium to catch a high-energy Friday night showdown between the William Allen Canaries and the Central Catholic Vikings. As I arrived, both teams were deep into warmups—helmets on, pads clashing, coaches giving final instructions, and fans filling the stands with pride and anticipation. The moment the ball was kicked off, the action was nonstop. Central Catholic came out strong, jumping to an early lead with sharp ex*****on and explosive plays. Just before halftime, the Canaries responded with a clutch touchdown drive that reignited the crowd and gave Allen momentum heading into the break. In the second half of the game, Central Catholic’s defense began to tighten, eventually forcing a costly interception that shifted control back in their favor. Ultimately, Central came away with the win, but the Canaries showed heart, grit, and growth every step of the way. Huge shoutout to the Allentown School District, the dedicated coaching staff, the resilient players, and the passionate parents who continue to pour into this program. William Allen football is building something special, and the fight they showed on that field proves it!

Recently, I had the opportunity to stop over at Salisbury High School to catch a youth football clash between the Salisbury Falcons and the Catasauqua Rough Riders—and from the moment I arrived, it was clear both teams came ready for war. Helmets were strapped, pads were popping, and the energy on the field during warmups was intense. Coaches were dialing in their squads, players were locked in, and the crowd was buzzing with anticipation. As the game kicked off, it quickly turned into a defensive slugfest. Both teams dug deep, trading stops and holding the line quarter after quarter. Every yard was earned, every tackle was felt, and neither side gave an inch. Then, with just minutes left on the clock, Salisbury’s quarterback executed a perfectly timed RPO, saw daylight, and took off—breaking free for a walk-off, game-winning touchdown that sent the Falcons sideline into a frenzy. That score sealed their first win of the season, and it was well-earned. Recently, I had the opportunity to stop over at Whitehall Middle School to catch a girls volleyball showdown between the Whitehall Zephyrs and East Hill Middle School—and from the moment I walked into the gym, the energy was electric. Both teams were locked in during warmups, running drills, practicing serves, and getting mentally dialed in for what was about to be a high-intensity match. As the game kicked off, the Zephyrs wasted no time asserting their dominance. They opened with a flurry of aces, catching East Hill off guard and setting the tone early. From there, it was a clinic—Whitehall’s front line delivered kill after kill, with perfectly timed sets and powerful spikes that echoed through the gym. The communication, hustle, and chemistry on the court were next-level, and the Zephyrs never let up until the final whistle blew. Recently, I had the chance to stop by J. Birney Crum Stadium to catch a JV football matchup between the Dieruff Huskies and the Liberty Hurricanes. When I arrived, both teams were locked in—warming up, running plays, and getting mentally ready for battle. As soon as the ball was kicked off, the action was on. Liberty received the opening kickoff and came out swinging with a sharp passing attack that led them straight down the field for the game’s first touchdown. Dieruff responded with a powerful run game, showing flashes of grit and determination, but Liberty’s defense tightened up, shutting down the lanes and unleashing a relentless pass rush that kept Dieruff’s quarterbacks under pressure all night. But here’s the bigger picture—JV and freshman football isn’t just about the scoreboard. It’s about learning the game, building confidence, and preparing our youth for the varsity level and beyond. To every young athlete in Allentown and beyond: wins and losses don’t define you. Your effort, growth, and heart do. The ultimate goal is to win in life.
