Kendra: “Breathe, little Uh-Oh. We don’t have to solve the whole world today.” 😌😊

Anxiety Uh-Oh: “But what if we don’t solve anything? What if the Wi-Fi goes out? What if we forgot something BIG? What if... what if...” 😟😰❓

Uh-Oh Bloop: “The one with the most snacks in it. Priorities, Kendra.” 🍪📖

Uh-Oh Jib: “No, no! The adventure one! Kids need to know how to survive in case they get stuck in a land made entirely of… marshmallow goo!” 😱🍡

Uh-Oh Jib: “Kendra! We’ve been thinking… the world needs more certainty, peace, and love!”

Kendra: “I agree! So… what’s the plan?”

Uh-Oh Bloop: “Okay, hear us out. We start with free hugs. LOTS of hugs.” 🤗

Uh-Oh Zizzle: “And we ban all ‘Are we there yet?’ questions from road trips.” 🚗

🌍✨ Why Now? The Launch of The Uh-Ohs

So, you may be asking—why now? Why build The Uh-Ohs into a movement, a brand, a whole universe? Well, let me take you back.

It wasn’t until the pandemic hit that I realized… how do I explain something so unimaginable to my daughter? The world shut down. Families were separated. Fear took over. And yet, the only place I found comfort? The Uh-Oh Universe.

🌀 The pandemic became a portal—a bridge between imagination and reality. What if we could symbolically create characters with a mission to help children through confusion, fear, and loss?

💡 With my sons’ blessing, our first Uh-Oh was born: Jib. A character straight from their childhood, now stepping into a bigger purpose.

But the story doesn’t stop there.

🔹 Kate was created in the likeness of Grandma Katie, a tribute wrapped in love, wisdom, and resilience.
🔹 And while the world faced uncertainty, we also encountered the darkest doctor known to man—one that took something precious from children everywhere.
🔹 And so, Dr. Kate was born. 💫 A clap-back in the most powerful way—a symbol of strength, healing, and hope.

🔥 This isn’t just a story. It’s REAL. A brand built on truth, pain, healing, and love. The Uh-Ohs aren’t just characters—they are survival, transformation, and the reminder that even in chaos, we can find our way forward.

Tonight, we attempted a simple dessert. Easy, right? WRONG.

👩🏾‍🦱💖 "I am strong. I am loved. I am enough." ✨

Every morning, as I do Katelyn’s hair, we practice affirmations together. 🪞💬 Because before she steps into the world, I want her to know:

✨ Her curls are beautiful.
✨ Her voice matters.
✨ Her heart is powerful.

As much as I teach her, she teaches me too. Watching her say these words with confidence reminds me to believe them for myself. Our words shape our reality, and self-love starts at home. 💕
