Our 9yo Arya loves reading books… but only the books she actually likes, according to her. 😅

Somehow, all that reading inspired her to write her own book. Then she casually asked me, “Mom, can you help me publish it?” And of course, being the supportive mom that I am, I said, “Okay.” 😂

I honestly thought it was just one of those cute little ideas… until she suddenly showed me a PROLOGUE. 🤭 I didn’t even know she had already started!

That’s when I realized… wait a minute, she might actually be serious about this. 😂

Now I have no idea when this book will be finished, how long it will be, or what exactly I agreed to.. but apparently, I may have accidentally become a future author’s assistant and publishing manager. 🤣

Lord, help me. And please help me keep up with this child’s dreams because she clearly has plans! Kuyawan! 🤭

🚨 ATTENTION, FUTURE RNs! 🇺🇸

If you’re planning to take the NCLEX, this might be your sign to stop delaying and start preparing NOW!

NCLEX fees are expected to become more expensive starting February 1, 2027. If you’re eligible and ready to register before the increase, you could save $150 USD!

And for my fellow nurses in the Philippines 🇵🇭.. if you’re taking the NCLEX for U.S. licensure, this applies to you too!

But more than saving money, remember: passing the NCLEX is an investment in your future.

So study, prepare, believe in yourself, and take that exam when you’re ready!

Opened her new math book: Instant vertigo. Opened her latest progress report: Instant tears of pride. 😭😭

After years of online schooling, she transitioned into one of the toughest math curriculums and absolutely crushed it. The student has officially become the master. So proud of you, babaa! 🥺

Nahadlok ang inahan ug amahan kay we heard na lisud daw kaayo ang math ani nga school! She's a consistent honor student since day 1, pero kulbaan gihapon kay she had been doing online classes baya gyud tawon! 😤

From passing the NCLEX in 2022 to finally traveling to the USA in 2026… what a journey.

There were interviews, paperwork, long waits, countless documents, uncertain moments, prayers, and days when all I could do was trust the process. 🙏

Looking back at this timeline reminds me that God’s timing is truly perfect. Every delay had a purpose, every step brought me closer, and every prayer carried me through. ❤️

This journey was not easy, but it was worth it.

To everyone still waiting for their turn: Hang on. Keep going. Trust the process, trust yourself, and most importantly, trust God’s timing. Your day will come too. 🙏🏻

To the new nurses starting their careers in a place where everything feels unfamiliar and everyone is still a stranger.. this is for you.

And not just for new nurses. This is for anyone starting somewhere new: a new employee, a new student, someone adjusting to a new environment, or simply someone beginning a new chapter in life.

If you’re new to everything, this is for you.

Hang in there. It may feel uncomfortable right now, and you may feel like you don’t belong yet.. but this is not your first rodeo. You’ve faced new beginnings before, learned unfamiliar things, and found your way through challenges.

You will find your place. You will find your people. And one day, this place that feels so unfamiliar will feel like home. 🥰🙏🏻
