Mother’s Day always makes me pause and reflect. 🥹
On the women who raised us. The ones who shaped how we lead, how we care, how we show up for others… even in rooms they may never enter.
When I think about my journey (personally and professionally) I see so much of it rooted in what I learned from watching, listening, and being held by strong, resilient women.
The way they made things happen… quietly, consistently, without recognition. The way they paid attention to the details that no one else noticed. The way they carried so much… and still showed up with love.
Sound familiar?
Because in many ways, that’s the work we do too.
We build.
We nurture.
We anticipate.
We hold space for others.
And for me, motherhood has also been one of my greatest teachers. Alex and Kasie, thank you for reminding me every day what unconditional love, patience, and growth look like. Being your mom is one of the greatest honors of my life. You continue to shape me into a better human, leader, and woman with every season we grow through together.
This Mother’s Day, I’m honoring that legacy.
The visible and the invisible work. The love behind the labor. The humanity behind everything we create.
Happy to the original table-builders. The aunties. The grandmothers. The chosen mothers. The women who taught us that a gathering, done right, is a kind of prayer. 🩷
