Nobody talks about this enough, but your morning routine is leadership prep.

A simple skincare routine changed the way I show up. Not just for myself but for my clients, my team, my work.

A few extra minutes every morning = a version of me that's grounded, confident, and ready.
You cannot lead well when you don't feel good in your own skin. Obstacles don't wait for you to feel ready. But the right habits make sure you are.

Small habit. Big shift. 💫

What's the one morning ritual that sets your whole day up differently?

I spent the last few days creating custom leadership training videos for my team, and honestly? This is the work that lights me up most.

This. Investing in the people who make everything else possible.

Here's what most businesses get wrong. They outsource training to generic programs that don't speak to their team's actual needs, their culture, or the specific challenges they're navigating.

I'm making these videos personal. Tailored to OUR team. Addressing the real situations they face. Using examples from our actual work.

Because here's the truth: your team can tell when development is performative versus when it's genuine investment. They know the difference between checking a training box and equipping them to lead.

Time well invested isn't just money, it's the hours you spend making sure the people building with you have what they need to thrive. Your team's growth is your competitive advantage. Invest accordingly. 🔥

What's one leadership skill you wish someone had taught you earlier? Drop it below, might make it into the next training. 😉

A few days ago, I turned 50. I thought I’d be scared, but I’m not. I’m curious. ⁣😌

This week, I pulled out every notebook I’ve kept since I was 22. Page after page of dreams, plans, worries… things that once felt urgent. ⁣

Most of them didn’t matter. ⁣

But the ones that did? They stayed and they shaped me. Swipe to see what 50 is teaching me.⁣ ➡️

I raise a glass to the woman I’ve become, and to the one I’m still becoming. 🥂⁣

If you could tell your younger self one thing… what would it be?⁣ 👀

Today, we pause. 🖤 ⁣

Hospitality, at its root, is about caring for someone who isn’t home. ⁣

And today… we remember those who never made it back. ⁣

We hold space for the families who carry that absence every day. The empty seats. The stories that continue without them.

Tomorrow, I turn 50. 🥂⁣

But last week? My team made sure I stepped into this new chapter feeling celebrated and loved.⁣

What made it even more meaningful is that the celebration was produced by The Hospitality Collective, the very team and vision I’ve been building over the last few months. So yes… technically, I hired my own team to produce my birthday party. 😂⁣

There is something so special about being on the receiving end of care. For one night, I didn’t have to manage the details or hold everything together. I simply got to show up, dance, laugh, reflect, and be surrounded by the people who have walked with me through some of the hardest and most beautiful seasons of life.⁣

To my team, thank you for holding me the way you hold our clients. I am your luckiest client. And to my friends, thank you for celebrating with me. Still reminiscing.🥂

The thing nobody tells you about building something from scratch? 👇🏻

You have to protect it AND let it breathe at the same time.⁣

As a self-made founder, the boundaries you set around your business aren't just operational. They're personal. Because when YOU are the brand, everything bleeds together if you let it.⁣

Here's what I've learned the hard way:⁣

🔒 Boundary 1: Separate your worth from your revenue.⁣
A slow month doesn't mean a failed founder. Detach your identity from the numbers.⁣

🔒 Boundary 2: Not every opportunity deserves a yes.⁣
The best founders I know are incredibly protective of what gets their energy. Alignment > opportunity.⁣

🔒 Boundary 3: You don't have to be accessible to everyone, all the time.⁣
Availability is not the same as value. Set the hours. Honor them.⁣

🔒 Boundary 4: Let your work evolve without losing your vision.⁣

Your creation will grow and shift, hold the vision loosely enough to let it, but firmly enough to keep its soul intact.⁣

Which of these boundaries do you need to implement TODAY? Drop it below

The World Cup is coming to the United States. And for hospitality, this is an amazing opportunity.⁣

A moment where the world shows up at our doorstep. Different cultures. Different expectations. One shared experience.⁣

The question isn’t how do we change for them?⁣
It’s, how do we show up more intentionally as ourselves?⁣

The core idea is simple, hospitality isn’t about reinvention. It’s about refinement. It’s about:⁣
• Staying rooted in who you are⁣
• Elevating what already makes you special⁣
• Creating experiences that feel both local and unforgettable⁣

Because people aren’t traveling here for a generic experience. They’re coming for us.⁣

How are you preparing to welcome the world? 👀⁣

For a long time in hospitality, the seat at the head of the table looked a certain way. It didn't look like me. It didn't look like a lot of us.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So I stopped waiting to be invited to someone else's table. I built one. I pulled up chairs. I told the young woman in the back of the kitchen she belonged at this table too.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And this is your invitation.⁣⁣

Mother’s Day always makes me pause and reflect. 🥹

On the women who raised us. The ones who shaped how we lead, how we care, how we show up for others… even in rooms they may never enter.

When I think about my journey (personally and professionally) I see so much of it rooted in what I learned from watching, listening, and being held by strong, resilient women.

The way they made things happen… quietly, consistently, without recognition. The way they paid attention to the details that no one else noticed. The way they carried so much… and still showed up with love.

Sound familiar?

Because in many ways, that’s the work we do too.

We build.
We nurture.
We anticipate.
We hold space for others.

And for me, motherhood has also been one of my greatest teachers. Alex and Kasie, thank you for reminding me every day what unconditional love, patience, and growth look like. Being your mom is one of the greatest honors of my life. You continue to shape me into a better human, leader, and woman with every season we grow through together.

This Mother’s Day, I’m honoring that legacy.

The visible and the invisible work. The love behind the labor. The humanity behind everything we create.

Happy to the original table-builders. The aunties. The grandmothers. The chosen mothers. The women who taught us that a gathering, done right, is a kind of prayer. 🩷

That time TSA pulled me out of the line… for a bag full of crystals. 💎⁣

The full story is in the Reel, but here’s the part I want you to sit with. This is the side of luxury weddings and events no one sees.⁣

The searching. The coordinating. The “we’ll figure it out no matter what” energy.⁣

It’s hundreds of tiny decisions, most invisible, most costly, all intentional, quietly saying to the client: we heard you.⁣

“Attention to detail” isn’t a buzzword.⁣

It’s the work.⁣
It’s the standard.⁣
It’s the reason it all feels effortless… even when it’s not.⁣

And when it’s done right? No one notices.⁣

That’s how you know you got it right. ✨⁣

Now tell me, what’s the craziest thing you’ve done to make someone’s day unforgettable?
