Just an update on this post.
Although our pleas of shares to get them more noticed isn't the reason they got interest - we are still thankful for you all sharing them.
Skylar went on foster trial and was Adopted this week. He found her on petfinder.
Jacks and Hugo are currently on foster trials - fingers crossed - and only came about because of a phone call and a drop in visit.
We are so hopefull these homes work our for the longterm for them.
And with those spaces open - we had two returns this week, getting two returns on Sunday, One return to come at a later point, and pulled an animal from Animal Control this week. So we have filled right back up. It is a never ending circle but that is why shares of pictures are so important. So thank you all!
With the post from the Harrison County WV Animal Control from the other day - we are hoping we gathered some more followers.
We see the dogs on death row and rush to help them, we see the puppies and rush to adopt them.
But what about the LONG term shelter dogs? Why do they keep getting overlooked? No they are not 'code red' - BUT a shelter life is not a long term solution.
So we HOPE that maybe our three long term residents will get more shares now if we gained a wider audience. Sharing is caring!
All of these dogs were adopted and returned through NO FAULT of their own. We adore them yet they sit here month after month. We just don't understand.
