We extend our deepest concern for everyone affected by the covid-19 pandemic, especially pilgrims, individuals, and businesses along the Camino de Santiago. It's hard to see the Camino family suffering, whether health-wise, economically, or disappointments over dream travels disrupted.
The Camino is closed until further notice, and a state of emergency has been declared in Spain. Concern is growing for how pilgrims could negatively impact local Camino communities by spreading the virus. If you are currently on the Camino, follow all travel requirements set out by Spain and local bodies.
The Camino has been there for centuries and will endure. Let's support each other in this troubling time, dreaming and planning for the day we can return unfettered to the Way. We're always here to support you in those plans. ♥️👣↦
