Facts! 💯 Folks really forgot Joe Budden was a problem on the mic before the podcast era took over. “Pump It Up” was just the commercial joint—if you ain’t tapped into his Mood Muzik series or tracks like “All of Me” or “3 Sides to a Story,” you missed out on some of the realest, most introspective bars in hip hop. 🧠🎤

This man had metaphors, layered storytelling, battle-tested verses, AND could go toe-to-toe with lyrical beasts. Let’s not forget he held his own in Slaughterhouse next to Royce, Crooked I, and Joell Ortiz. Top 10 might be debatable to some—but top tier lyricist? No question.

Let’s talk about a true icon who’s been blessing our screens and setting the bar for Black excellence since forever. From her powerful performance as Tina Turner in What’s Love Got to Do with It (she was Tina, let’s be real), to turning up the heat as Bernadine in Waiting to Exhale when she lit that man’s clothes on fire like a boss 🔥—Angela BEEN that girl!

Y’all remember her as the strong and spiritual Queen Ramonda in Black Panther? She brought so much grace and fire to that role, we still not over her Oscar snub 😤🤦🏾‍♂️. But long before Wakanda, Angela was putting in work in classics like How Stella Got Her Groove Back (and YES, she definitely got it back, thank you very much) and Boyz n the Hood where she held it down as Tre’s mama with ALL the wisdom.

Yooo… can we talk about how the 50 Cent vs. Ja Rule beef been goin’ on for damn near 25 years?! 😭 Like this ain’t just a rap feud, this a whole lifestyle at this point.

It all started in the late ’90s, early 2000s—street beef turned industry smoke. And honestly, let’s be real… 50 BEEN won that battle a long time ago. The music, the moves, the memes—man carved a legacy and a troll career outta Ja’s name 😅💀

But what’s wild is… 50 still don’t let up! Anytime Ja so much as breathes on social media, 50 somewhere in the shadows with a meme, a troll post, or a whole TV show character mocking him 😂
