National Finals Season 1 is over & y’all…

I am leaving Dallas a 2025 North American National Champion!!
*I did not fall over this time* 😅😭

The feeling is absolutely surreal but, I am here for it!!

Over the last 5 years, I have met & interacted with some incredible individuals involved in the Digimon Card Game community. Every single one of you have had a part in where I have developed today & I cannot thank you all enough.

It is GENCON 2025 & y’all, I FINALLY made it happen!

Nearly 5 years of grinding & it is the day I am leaving an event a Digimon Regional Champion! 🙌🏾

To be honest, I thought I had so much more to say but, I think the fall out of my chair at the end of the finals spoke for itself. 😆

This was the first regional of Season 2 and I’m extremely excited to have made my spot at the early 2026 National Finals in Vegas!

For now though, we’ll continue to prep for National Finals in Dallas 💪🏾

I was able to compete in 6 of the events across my state with my 11th iteration of Gallantmon X & ultimately won 4 of them!

What’s up homies!!🙏🏾

Blessings, Blessings! We’re starting this competition season off strong with a 64 man Store Regional!

After 6 rounds, I took 3rd place 🥉& got my 2025 National’s invite secured!

Gallant X has been my favorite deck to play of the year & while it’s got many ups & downs in this meta, I’m still out here representing the shield. 🙌🏾

While I now have the invite, the season is still young & I’ve got a few more regionals to look forward to.

Man what an end to the 2024 Digimon Card Game year!

320 Players in the day 1 Swiss & I finished 2nd Place after the 9 rounds only losing to 1st!

Day 2, I ended at Top 16 (9th overall) after 2 great 3 game matches in Top Cut. Taking the L in the 2nd one to my homie Nick’s Mirage.

This was 100% my best performance EVER since the game’s inception & it happened to be at the most important event of the year so I will take that, thank God & continue to go for better. 💪🏾

It was also dope to be up there in top 16 with the homies!! Like how often does that happen?? Congratulations to Tyler Cyr on Top 16 & huge congrats Anthony Senegal Jr. & Nicholas Hutchens for ending Top 8!!

North American National Finals in Orlando was easily the best they’ve ever ran these last 4 years. Every round ran smoothly, no wild hiccups and far from chaotic. Huge thank you to Bandai, PlayTCG & all the Judges for holding it all together.

Yooooo! GenCon Regional 2024 in the books!

It has been a long 4ish years pressing competition in this game but, today I finally got my first Top 3 placement in a Regional event EVER!🥉

I’ve gotten a few top 16’s and 32’s but, beyond excited for my first Top 4 🤞🏾😩 Forgive me, idk how to act. 🤣

The app says it was 184 players but, I believe the level 0 judge said it was 178 so I’m unsure which is correct.

Yellow Armor Vaccine is hands down my favorite deck right now so I ran with my ninth build of it.

Round 1: Green Cherubi win 2-0
Round 2: Blue Armor (Gift Win) win 2-0
Round 3: Mirage win 2-0
Round 4: Black Nume (Tyler LOL) cooked 0-2
Round 5: Yellow Vaccine (Mirror) win 2-0
Round 6: 7GDL win 2-0
Round 7: Mirage win 2-1
Round 8: Black Nume win 2-1

3rd place at 7-1, Omni #220 and my 2024 invite secured.

I also got to hangout and talk with the lady at the forefront of Digimon Card Game & it was great to hear some perspective and give real feedback.

What’s good Digi Family!

Finally, another big event came around up here in the Big East thanks to Rescue Gaming Collectibles doing their part to keep the community active & hungry!🫡

36 Tamers filled the house for a baker’s dozen case event & it was as surely a sight to see!

Looga is super fun, I love the deck but, can be very rough to pilot into certain matchups 🥴

I was able to close out the event 4-1 taking 6th place & then at top 8, we all decide to take the even prizing split & go home!

Hello Digimon Family! 👾

It is 2023 & I have finally attended my first Gen Con! What a wild weekend it has been!

During the convention I competed in not one but, two Digimon Regional Championships with over 200 other tamers each day fighting for 2023 National Finals invitations, the championship play-mat & other cool-ish prizing.

I am very excited to report that I walked away with my Nationals Invitation secured AND watched a great friend of mine & Big East native win the whole Sunday regional!

My choice for the weekend was ShineGreymon. 🫡 I did a lot of testing around the community in the leading weeks & decided it was what I felt most comfortable with trying to play from behind if I had to. I actually ended up playing the same list for both events as my now 6th iteration within the BT13 format.

Day 2 was a bit awkward because that specific event was shifted to Best of One at the last minute due to time constraints of the stadium.

Let’s talk placements and matchups though!

➡️Gen Con Day 1: I ended 33rd Place out of 246 Tamers, with a match record of 5-2

⚡️Round 1: VS Ravemon Burst WIN 2-0
⚡️Round 2: VS ShineGreymon Mirror LOSS 1-2 (He Heaven’s Judgement’d a stack & then bricked the rest of game 3)
⚡️Round 3: VS Hunters WIN 2-0
⚡️Round 4: VS WarGreymon X WIN 2-0
⚡️Round 5: VS SEC CON WIN 2-0
⚡️Round 6: VS Alphamon LOSS 0-2 (Perfect Line both games, game 1 he brought himself to 8 memory and then played triple Zubagan Punch + Kongo.)
⚡️Round 7: VS ShineGreymon Mirror WIN 2-1

➡️Gen Con Day 2: I ended 17th place out of 204 Tamers securing the National Finals Invitation also with a match record of 5-2

EX04 Alternative Being release weekend is coming to a close but, it certainly was a great one!

A 27 Tamer Brawl for a EX04 Case happened at Imperial Gaming and Collectibles on Saturday where I took 2nd with WarGame!🥈💪🏾 (Top 16 posted below). Immediately followed by a 13 Tamer Store Championship the next day at Most Excellent Comics & Gaming where I landed in 4th.

While the set as a whole may not be game breaking or spectacular, it definitely has some remarkable Alternative Art cards to look forward to getting your hands on! 🤩

Be that as it may, tomorrow, I’ll be competing with many others in an Alternative Being Case Tournament at Imperial Gaming and Collectibles!
