The Black Stars have a strong World Cup history, making their fifth appearance at the tournament in 2026.

Ghana has featured in five previous editions, 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2022, with their best run coming in 2010 when they reached the quarter-finals.

Panama on the other hand are preparing for only their second World Cup appearance.

Their debut was in 2018, when they qualified for the tournament for the first time in their history.

The design, which features the iconic Black Star at its centre and incorporates patterns inspired by Anansi folklore and Ghanaian cultural heritage, was praised for its originality and strong national identity.
